Saints team news for winner-take-all Racing clash

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

Franklin’s Gardens hosts its biggest match in years in Europe’s top club rugby competition, with the winner guaranteed of a home quarter final in April’s knockout stages. Anticipation has been high, with the ‘sold out’ signs hung days in advance of the game, and the supporters will welcome a Saints team that shows three changes from that which began last Sunday’s win at the Ospreys.

Ben Foden’s unfortunate injury sees James Wilson come into the team at full back, the only change in the back line. Meanwhile up front props Alex Corbisiero and Salesi Ma’afu line up in the front row alongside captain Dylan Hartley.

No tickets are available from the Saints Ticket Office, but supporters may find what they’re looking for on StubHub, where Season Ticket Holders sell tickets for those games they cannot attend.

Live coverage is available on BT Sport 1 from 3pm, with BBC Radio Northampton (UK users) also broadcasting from Franklin’s Gardens. Meanwhile for supporters who are out and about and can’t get to a TV or radio, head to www.saintslive.co.uk for text commentary and the best social media interactions.

Stephen Myler, George North, Calum Clark and Dorian West give their thoughts on the game in this week’s podcast, available for FREE on any device at www.soundcloud.com/official-saints-rugby, and all supporters are advised to take note of the travel advice issued by the Saints ahead of the game.
