Saints to host Saracens in Aviva Premiership semi-final

With Leicester winning the East Midlands derby, and Saracens out-doing Exeter on points difference, the Aviva Premiership’s top four have been confirmed as Saints in first, Bath in second, Leicester in third and Saracens fourth.

Saints will host Saracens at 2pm, with Bath taking on the Tigers at the Rec at 5pm.

“We’ve had some cracking matches against Saracens in the past few years,” said director of rugby Jim Mallinder. “They’ll be out to spoil the party and enjoy travelling away.

“But we’ve beaten them this season, and there’s no reason why we can’t do it again. It’s all about getting your best players playing at the right time, and next week is a big occasion, so we’ll be doing everything we can this week to make sure we put out a side that’s prepared as best we can.”

A limited number of tickets are on sale now for the game at www.northamptonsaints.co.uk/buytickets and further announcements will be made as and when information is available.
