The Northampton Saints coaches are giving plenty of members of the club’s squad the chance to get some match action under their belts in Saturday’s opening pre-season friendly against Castres.
The squad has been in the south of France this week as preparations intensify for the Aviva Premiership opener on September 3rd, with tomorrow’s game in Camares forming part of the 2016 Challenge Vaquerin.
There will be a team starting each half, with only one player - winger Tom Collins - scheduled to start both. Tom Wood leads the opening half, with the captain’s armband handed to Ben Foden for the second.
If any Saints supporters in the south of France would like to head to Camares for the 6:00pm kick off (French time) then ticket information can be seen by CLICKING HERE.
Supporters in the UK and elsewhere can follow scores as they happen on the Saints’ Twitter feed (@SaintsRugby) with regular updates also on the club’s official Facebook page (OfficialNorthamptonSaints). Highlights will be online when they’re available.
Tickets for the Saints’ opening day home clash with Bath are on sale now at www.tinyurl.com/SAI-BAT-1617 and by using [email protected] supporters can beat the match day queues and save themselves the admin fees.
2016/17 Season Tickets remain available, too, with benefits including the equivalent of six free tickets compared to booking on a match-by-match basis, discounts at the Saints Superstore and room hire at Franklin’s Gardens, priority booking for knockout matches and the ability to enter the ballot for England home international tickets.
