Northampton Saints are inviting supporters and members of the wider community to learn more about the Saints Memorial Wall at an open event being held at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens later this month.
Taking place on Wednesday 30 April, the event will give anyone with an interest in the Memorial Wall the opportunity to hear more about the project, see what it will look like, ask questions, and speak directly with both the Club and Sporting Legacies – the specialist partners supporting its delivery.
The Saints Memorial Wall will offer supporters the chance to have their own cremated remains, or those of a loved one, respectfully interred at the heart of Franklin’s Gardens. Set within a peaceful Memorial Garden in the Supporter Village, the Wall is intended to provide a permanent, dignified resting place within the stadium footprint, allowing families to return and reflect for generations to come.
Supporters can find full background information about the project HERE.
The open event will run from 3pm to 7pm in the Michael Jones Jeweller Champions Suite, with short presentations taking place on the hour. These will introduce Sporting Legacies, explain the concept behind the Memorial Wall, and outline how the project will be delivered, before opening the floor to a Q&A session.
Importantly, the event has been designed to help supporters really visualise the Memorial Wall. Attendees will be able to view a to‑scale 3D model of the Wall, see full-size examples of the plaques that will be mounted, and see and feel samples of the high‑quality porcelain materials from which the Wall will be constructed.
Tea and coffee will be available throughout the afternoon. Supporters are welcome to drop in at any point during the event, with a sign-up form available below to let us know that you are coming.
The event is intended as an opportunity for open and honest discussion – whether you are actively considering purchasing a niche, would like reassurance on specific elements of the project, or simply want to understand more about what the Memorial Wall is, how it will look, and whether it might be the perfect final resting place for you or a loved one.
