This Saturday sees Northampton Saints take on Worcester Warriors at Franklin’s Gardens, for their final home game of the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership season.
After back-to-back away victories at both Harlequins and Newcastle Falcons, Saints head into the final fixture of the season on home soil sitting in fourth place in the standings – so with a position in the knock-out rounds firmly within Saints’ reach, there’s a lot on the line.
Following the success of the end-of-season ceremony which began last year, the Club would once again like to invite our loyal supporters onto the hallowed Franklin’s Gardens turf following the match to celebrate the squad’s accomplishments this season, and also toast those players that will be moving on to pastures new next term.
The playing squad will complete a lap of honour around the ground with their families immediately after the final whistle. Then, supporters will be welcomed onto the pitch for the annual presentation of shirts to some of our departing players.
Please do not go onto the pitch until told to do so by the stewards.
With the likes of Luther Burrell, Ken Pisi and James Craig all bidding a fond farewell to Franklin’s Gardens, it will be an event not to be missed.
