If you are looking for your rugby fix this summer look no further than putting a team into the Trilogy Saints Touch League.
One of the biggest competitions in the area over the past nine years, the Trilogy Saints Touch League is returning to Northampton this summer. Hosted at Duston Trilogy Sports Centre, the Touch League will start on Monday, June 6th, with the competition reaching its climax on Monday, July 11th.
The Saints Trilogy Touch League is for club, social or company teams. All you have to do is make sure you have a squad of no fewer than six people (preferably between eight and 12) and are prepared to have fun!
Touch is a minimal contact sport for both men and women aged 16 and over, with an emphasis on handling and agility. You play on a pitch that is half-the-size of a rugby pitch and once you get the hang of the sport you will quickly get into shape!
Following an initial seeding week all teams will take part in a round-robin competition, with teams assigned to play others of a similar standard.
Entry is £150 per team, which works out to be £25 per team, per week – cheaper than a gym!
