Supporters' Player of the Season is always a fiercely contested award. As ever, the entire Saints squad are eligible to receive your votes, but to help you make your final decision we have identified some leading candidates.

With nine tries to his name, wing JAMIE ELLIOTT is the club's leading try scorer this season. A nominee for the LV= Breakthrough Player Award, the Saints Academy graduate has been an ever-present in the first team since the beginning of November.

Club captain DYLAN HARTLEY has led from the front all campaign, winning four man of the match awards and enjoying an 89 percent success rate from his 233 throws in the Aviva Premiership.

SAMU MANOA has been one of the most consistent players in the team, winning the man of the match award in the wins at Bath and Glasgow and making 30 appearances in all competitions, 26 of them in the starting line-up. His 154 carries are the second highest among the squad, while in defence he has hit the target with 92 percent of his 190 tackles.

Wing KEN PISI has had an eye-catching first season in the black, green and gold, leading the way in terms of the number of defenders beaten, metres made with ball in hand and clean breaks. To see his influence just watch the Try of the Season video, the Samoan featuring in the build-up of six of the 10 scores.

Finally TOM WOOD has had another powerful campaign for club and country. The flanker rightly earned plenty of plaudits for his man of the match performance in England's December win over New Zealand, while he also led England's tackling statistics in the Six Nations. In club colours he was the go-to man in the lineout during the Heineken Cup, while his 145 tackles represents a 93 percent success rate.

Five players have been short-listed for Young Players of the Season. JAMIE ELLIOTT is joined by hooker MIKE HAYWOOD, who has been a regular in the Saints first team and started the memorable Heineken Cup away win against Ulster and flanker BEN NUTLEY, who has added to his first team experience and captained the Wanderers on several occasions, including the Aviva 'A' League semi-final. Centre TOM STEPHENSON scored for England Under-20 at Franklin's Gardens on his way to winning a Grand Slam, while prop ETHAN WALLER marked himself out as one to watch in his first team appearances in the LV= Cup.

After 21 Rounds of Aviva Premiership Rugby the Saints have led the way in terms of the total number of tries scored, the whitewash crossed 52 times in league play alone. And when you combine that with the tries scored in the Heineken Cup and LV= Cup that number shoots up to 70!

These have been whittled down to 10, which are:

Try 2 - Vasily ARTEMYEV v Worcester (home)

Try 3 - George PISI v Glasgow (home)

Try 4 - GJ VAN VELZE v Ulster (away)
