Midweek rugby at the Gardens

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

The Saints may not have a game this week, but you can still get your oval ball fix on Wednesday as Old Northamptonians face Towcestrians in the 2013 Northampton and District Alliance Cup final.

Kick off at Franklin's Gardens is at 7:30pm, with entry to be paid on the gate.

There is more local rugby at Franklin's Gardens on Wednesday, May 1st, with the finals of the Oceanic Trophy and Lewis Shield.

Meanwhile with just one Saturday of the season remaining there is plenty of competition for the Paget Cup, too, awarded to the club in the Alliance with the highest winning percentage in its campaign.

Saints last won the Paget Cup in 2007/08 courtesy of the 100 percent season in the Championship and National Trophy. This year's contenders are also having excellent seasons, with Brackley (87 percent) and Buckingham (86 percent) vying for the right to be called the best team within the Alliance.
