The cancellation is due to reasons outside the Saints’ control, and the club apologises for any disappointment. The Wanderers’ next scheduled Aviva ‘A’ League match is against Bristol on Monday, October 6th; this game will be played at Franklin’s Gardens.
Monday’s cancellation means that there will be plenty of car parking available for the coach education programme session, which will now start at 6:30pm.
However while there will be no locking of horns against the near-rivals, two friendly fixtures have been confirmed for the Wanderers against the respective Blues of Cambridge and Oxford.
The Wanderers head to Grange Road to play Cambridge University on Monday, October 20th, and to Iffley Road to play Oxford University on Monday, November 24th. Both games will kick off at 7:15pm.
