Loughborough University winger Thomas Rowe joined up with Northampton Saints on trial during preseason of the 2025/26 season, and would go on to pen a first senior contract with the Club the following season. 

Rowe, who graduated from Yorkshire Rugby Academy before joining the University, was the third ranked try-scorer in National League 2 West in 2024/25 – having crossed the whitewash for Loughborough 23 times across the season.

Rowe joined Saints as a trialist at the start of the 2025/26 campaign, quickly impressing with his pace and athleticism to earn an extended stay alongside his studies.

The winger made his sole appearance that season against Harlequins in November 2025 in the PREM Rugby Cup, and wasted little time making an impact in Black, Green and Gold – finishing off Anthony Belleau’s break to score just two minutes into his Saints debut.
