Scotland name four Loughborough Lightning players in squad to play Italy

Scotland have named four Loughborough Lightning players in their starting line-up to take on Italy in the third round of the 2024 Guinness Women’s Six Nations this weekend.

Rachel Malcolm leads the side in Parma on Saturday (kick-off: 4.45pm) with Helen Nelson operating as vice captain, while Chloe Rollie and Christine Belisle are included once more.

Scotland kicked off their campaign with an historic 20-18 away win in Wales before going down to back-to-back home losses to France (5-15) and England (0-46) to sit fifth in the table with two rounds remaining.

Italy started with a 48-0 home loss to the Red Roses before winning 27-21 away in Ireland before going down 38-15 in France last weekend to sit fourth in the standings, with one point more than Scotland heading into this weekend.
