Loughborough Lightning, in partnership with Northampton Saints, is delighted to present ‘An Evening with Our Lightning World Cup Heroes’ this October – when many of Lightning’s international stars will share their experiences from the 2025 Rugby World Cup.
The event on Wednesday 22 October at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens will feature the Player of the Match from the World Cup final, Sadia Kabeya, along with two of her fellow World Cup winning Red Roses teammates; Lilli Ives Campion and Emily Scarratt.
There will also be some fascinating insight into Scotland’s emotional rollercoaster journey into the quarter-finals, provided by their vice-captain Helen Nelson and experienced forwards Elis Martin and Anne Young.
On top of that, we will get first-hand accounts from inside the USA camp from Kathryn Treder and two of Lightning’s new signings Tahlia Brody and Keia Mae Sagapolu.
This special event will be hosted by broadcaster Claire Thomas – a regular face and voice on TNT Sports, Premier Sports, and BBC 5 Live’s coverage of rugby union – including commentating on the Rugby World Cup final between England and Canada.
