Loughborough Lightning kick-off an exciting weekend of rugby as they tackle local rivals Leicester Tigers for the first time at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens (kick-off: 2pm) before Northampton Saints Under-18s take on Newcastle Falcons (kick-off: 4.15pm).
It will be the first time that Lightning and Tigers have locked horns at the Gardens, as Loughborough seek to back-up their win in December’s reverse fixture at Mattioli Woods Welford Road and make it three successive Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby victories on Saturday 10 February and keep hot on the tails of the division’s top four.
Following that match, Saints Under-18s will look to sign off their regular season in the Northern Conference of the Premiership Rugby U18s Academies League with another victory when they host Newcastle. Charlie Reed’s side have won four of their five matches so far this season and average more than 48 points per game.

- Your match tickets are attached to your purchase confirmation email – please ensure you have these either printed on A4 paper, viewable on your smartphone, or added to your smartphone digital wallet before arriving at the stadium. Screenshots of your tickets are not accepted by the scanners on our turnstiles.
+ SAINTS STORE
- The Saints Store is open on Saturday from 10am on matchday until the end of half-time in Lightning‘s match (approximately 3pm).
- A range of Loughborough Lightning merchandise will be available in store, including the African Violet home shirts, bobble hats and team hoodies.
+ Ticket Office
- The Ticket Office windows will be open from 10am until approximately 15 minutes after Lightning kick-off (2.15pm), before moving inside to the Store until it closes at 3pm.
- Please note, supporters will be able to access the Ticket Office via the Saints Store at half-time during the Lightning match via Gate 1 only.
+ Entertainment
- Hot Dogs Brass Band will be performing live in the Supporter Village before the game and will also be on the pitch at half-time.
- There’s a chance for you to ‘PLAY YOUR SHIRTS RIGHT’ on our Big Screen before the game and win a great prize!
- We’ll also be joined by Lightning players Carmela Morrall and Lia Green before the match, with Saturday’s Club of the Match Ampthill RUFC holding a Q&A with the players in the stadium.
- Test your passing skills in our Passing Cage in the Rodber Bar.
- We’ll be joined by the stars of the future on Saturday as an Under-16s Rugby festival is being held. Catch all the action out on the back pitches from 10.20am – and the sides will form a Parade of Clubs at half-time during both matches so give the teams a wave as they pass you!
- Stick around after the Lightning match and you could be one of the lucky people handed a signed ball by one of the Lightning players!
- We’ll also be showing England vs Wales in the Guinness Six Nation (kick-off: 4.45pm) on the screens in Rodber Bar.

- Food and drink will be on offer in both the Supporter Village (1-4pm) as well as the Rodber Bar for this match.
- Amongst the food and drinks offering are; The Grill Burger. Pick & Mix, Container Bar, Polar Bar and Saul’s Barista Coffee.
- Please be aware that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a cashless stadium; all bars and food outlets will only accept card payments.
- The Rodber Bar will close at approximately 6.15pm.

- Car parking (Car Park D) will be available for £3 on the day via contactless payment upon arrival. Car parking tickets are not available to purchase in advance. Car Parks open at 12pm, with the stadium opening its gates at 1pm.
- Please note, seasonal Saints Car Park passes are not valid for this fixture.
- After the Car Parks close at 8pm on Saturday, there will be no access to any vehicle left behind until Monday morning.
- Given that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens sits in a residential area of the town, Saints strongly urge all supporters to use the Club’s car parks. Should they choose not to do so, supporters must park with due care and respect for the needs of local residents and businesses.
+ SMOKING
- cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a NO SMOKING stadium. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere in the stadium or Supporter Village pre, during or post-match.
- Supporters wishing to smoke will be allowed to exit the stadium during half-time to use one of the designated smoking areas outside Gates 1 and 2 – stewards will be on hand to direct you and will manage exit and re-entry into the stadium.
+ OTHER IMPORTANT INFO
- As both teams run out onto the pitch on Saturday, there will be a pyrotechnic display – please be advised this may include a series of loud bangs/crackles.
- The Club requests that supporters refrain from standing at the side of the pitch to watch the warm-up to prevent congestion. Please watch the warm-up from your seat.
- With no RFU-appointed timekeeper in attendance at the game on Saturday, the in-stadium clocks will not stop during the game.
- Please note, Saints’ Fan Radios will not be in use on Saturday.
