Premiership Women’s Rugby today confirmed that the league’s Remuneration Audit for the 2023/24 season is now complete.
As a result of this process, Loughborough Lightning were found to have inadvertently exceeded the Salary Cap and have been issued with an appropriate sanction via an Overrun Tax.
With Loughborough’s Salary Cap breach caused by an administrative error at the Club, Lightning have accepted the outcome of the audit and resulting sanction.
