Loughborough Lightning’s new signing Chloe Rollie makes her debut for Rhys Edwards’ side on Saturday, as Lightning face DMP Sharks in the Allianz Premier 15s.
Lightning return to Epinal Way on Saturday for their first outing at Loughborough University of 2023; and after falling 46-12 to table-toppers Gloucester Hartpury last weekend, Edwards’ side will be looking to come back with a bang.
Rollie makes her Lightning debut at fullback against Sharks, joining wings Lauren Bolger and Carys Williams-Morris in the back three.
Bulou Mataitoga shifts into the centres this weekend to partner Emma Hardy in Loughborough’s midfield, while Lucy Weaver comes into the starting line-up to join Helen Nelson in the half-backs.
And Edwards names three changes in his forwards, with Lilli Ives Campion, Morwenna Talling and Daisy Hibbert-Jones coming into an otherwise unchanged pack.
Leah Bartlett, Bryony Field and Christine Belisle form the front row for the fifth week running, with Ives Campion and Talling in the engine room behind them.
And Hibbert-Jones shifts into the starting line-up this weekend to join captain Rachel Malcolm and England international Sadia Kabeya in the back row to round off the forward pack.
