Reports to: Venue Presentation Coordinator
Location: cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens (NN5 5BG)
Hours: Variable – 37.5 hours per week (10am to 6pm, five out of seven days). Will include some work on weekends and public holidays.
Contract Type: Full-time
OVERVIEW:
To clean the facility to the highest standards in a flexible, efficient and effective manner.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Clean all indoor areas of cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens; exact areas to be cleaned may vary on a day-to-day basis depending on the requirements of the venue
- Deliver the highest standard of cleaning in Hospitality Boxes and other customer facing areas
- Specialised cleaning of playing areas, including gym, physio room, changing rooms, medical room etc
- During events, monitor areas for spillages, accidents, overflowing bins, level of toilet supplies and other ad hoc customer cleaning requirements
- Restock toilet products as needed
- Report any maintenance issues spotted in the course of cleaning (e.g. defective light bulbs, breakages or damage etc) to the Venue Manager
- Hand in any items of found property to the Venue Manager
- Report to the Venue Manager any incident or accident
- Undergo COSHH training and adhere to guidelines for use of chemicals
- Undergo other training as may be required by the Club
- Any other duties appropriate to the role as may be required from time to time
YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:
- Experience of cleaning in a premium customer-facing environment e.g. hotel, conference centre, restaurant or similar would be desirable
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the high level of cleaning standards required
- Be familiar with COSHH and the use of chemicals
- Be familiar with the use of cleaning equipment appropriate to the venue
- Be comfortable in a role where every day may be different, with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable
- Be capable of undertaking physical work for the duration of the shift; appropriate breaks will be provided
