Harlequins vs Northampton Saints

Just enough time for a start and Mitchell is there to collect it. Saints play the phases to run the clock down. 

Free kick Saints at the scrum and Mitchell goes quickly. Reinach chips through as the ball comes wide but Quins just get there first. Hidalgo-Clyne boxes but Grayson is there. Saint play on.

We pause the game as it heads in the way of a physio and restart with a Saints scrum once the player has been seen to.

Solid scrum from Saints and they pressure well as the ball comes out. Hidalgo-Clyne boxes and Grayson collects it. Saints play on. 

Saints secure the restart and come forwards quickly. Hutchinson finds Gibson out wide, who's got Reinach outside him but we come back for a forward pass. Scrum Quins.

Mitchell replaces Tuala as we restart things here at The Stoop.

Quins maul forwards form the lineout and make it up to the Saints' 22 before it comes down. There they earn a penalty and Smith points to the posts. 

Penalty Quins at the scrum. Smith sends it into touch for a lineout in Saints' half. 

Lang replaces Murley as the latter took a knock in the build up. And Kunatani replaces Clifford as we set the scrum.

But Saints are penalised for a forward pass and Quins will have the scrum. 

Quins maul the lineout but get nowhere and Hidalgo-Clyne brings the ball out and clears. Tuala is there and he comes forwards. Saints play on.

Penalty Quins at the breakdown as Saints are pinged for holding on. Smith sends it to touch.

Gibson again on the lineout and they maul again. Reinach gets the ball out this time and Naiyaravoro is up to the five metre line now. 

Penalty Saints at the maul again. Biggar send it into the corner again.

Gibson is up for the lineout and Saints maul again.

Wood is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards. Penalty Saints at the maul and they opt for the lineout once more.

Penalty Saints at the scrum. Biggar sends the ball into touch for the lineout.

Saints get close but are held up over the line and will have the five metre scrum. 

Quins look to maul again but get nowhere and Hidalgo-Clyne boxes again. Wood is there and Saints play on. Naiyaravoro and Kellaway get play into Quins' 22 again and Saints come forwards still.

Solid scrum again and Hutchinson and Harrison come forwards. The ball comes loose though and Brown gets on it. Quins are right back on their own try line though and Hidalgo-Clyne boxes. Grayson is there though and Saints play on. Hutchinson dinks forwards but is pushed into touch and Quins have the lineout.

The ball comes back to Smith to clear but he knocks on and Saints will have the scrum. 

Waller replaces Van Wyk for Saints as we restart.

Quins have and advantage coming and they play with it for a time but we come back for it eventually. Smith points to the posts. 

Reinach boxes again and Brown is there. He's taken down quickly though and Quins are pushed back to their own 22. Hidalgo-Clyne boxes and Reinach takes it. But he's isolated and is penalised for holding on. Smith sends the penalty into touch for a lineout.

Quins look to maul but it goes nowhere, Hidalgo-Clyne boxes and Tuala is there. Saints play on.

Naiyaravoro picks and goes but gets turned over. Quins chip through but Grayson is there and he clears well. Lineout Quins back in their own half. 

Reinach gets the ball away from the scrum and Kellaway comes forwards. Van Wyk gets play once the halfway line and Saints keep coming. 

Quins knock the ball on though and Saints have the scrum. 

Another solid scrum and Clifford picks the ball up. Saints pressure well but the ball comes out to Smith and he's through and up into Saints' half quickly. 

Hill is replaced by Franks as we set the scrum. 

Solid scrum from Saints and they come forwards hard. Biggar gets things up to the 22 before Kellaway takes the game into it. But as the ball comes wide to Naiyaravoro, he knocks it on into touch. Quins opt for the scrum. 

Reinach boxes clear and though Brown is under it, he knocks on as he goes to ground. Scrum Saints.

Hidalgo-Clyne boxes the restart and Grayson is under it. Saints play on.

Murley is nearlyy though but Tuala puts in a brilliant tap tackle to slow him. Quins still pushing in Saints' 22 though.

Harrison charges forwards off the scrum and Reinach feeds Biggar to clear. The ball does go off though and Quins play on. 

Quins look to maul again but Saints hold them and earn the put in at the scrum. 

Francis makes way for Grayson as we restart. 

Quins look to maul the lineout and have an advantage coming too. We come back for it. Smith sends it into the corner again.

Penalty Quins at the breakdown and Smith sends it into the corner. 

Quins collect the restart and Sinckler breaks through. He finds Alofa and Quins are on the attack in Saints' half now.

Biggar gets us restarted here at The Stoop!

30 seconds left of this half and we've just enough time for the scrum. 

Earle, who took a nasty bang in the build up to the scrum, comes off and Saili takes his place. 

Another solid scrum and Quins bring it wide. Earle is away but Francis puts in a brilliant tap tackle and the winger knocks on. Scrum Saints. 

Ratuniyarawa gets things back into the Quins half but Naiyaravoro can't keep hold of the ball as it comes wide to him. Scrum Quins.

Earle comes forwards but Saints turn over. With the advantage over they play on.

Solid scrum and Quins use the ball. But Saints hold them and Hidalgo-Clyne boxes clear. Tuala is there but he knocks on. Quins play on with the advantage. 

But Saints are pinged for a forward pass and Quins have the scrum. 

Gibson again on the lineout and Naiyaravoro breaks through. The ball comes wide to Kellaway and Saints are back up to the Quins 22 quickly. 

Saints get even close through Ratuniyarawa but they counter ruck well and turn the ball over. Smith clears and Saints will have the lineout on halfway. 

Kellaway gets Saints into the Quins 22 and the men in red keep coming.

Gibson disrupts the lineout and Marshall is there to collect the loose ball. Saints play on.

Gibson is up for the lineout and Naiyaravoro is nearly through. Harrison breaks too and is nearly up to the line but Quins earn a penalty there and Smith sends it to touch for a lineout just outside their own 22. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum! And Biggar sends it into the corner. 

Gibson again will the lineout and Saints come forwards. Hill knocks the ball on though and Quins will have the scrum. 

Loose ball pushes Quins back and Saints get over the ball for a penalty. Biggar sends it into touch but it doesn't quite make it. Smith returns and Saints will have the lineout back where Biggar took the kick from. 

Gibson is up fo the lineout and Saints come forwards but Marshall is stripped in the midfield. Quins play on. 

And Lawes returns from his HIA as we set the lineout, Coles returns to the bench. 

Hill returns from the blood bin as Biggar sends the penalty into touch. Franks returns to the bench and we restart with a Saints lineout inside Quins' half. 

Hidalgo-Clyne boxes clear and Tuala is there. Saints earn the penalty at the breakdown though as Quins fail to roll away. 

Solid scrum from Saints and Quins are forced to use the ball. They bring it wide but Saints take them down before they reach the halfway line. 

The ball comes wide but the final pass it forwards and Quins will have the scrum. 

Tuala collects Smith's clearing kick and feeds Naiyaravoro. Saints play on again.

Reinach chips through but the wind carries it too long and Quins will have the 22 drop. Smith finds Reinach with it and Biggar sends it high and Brown is under it. Quins play on.

Coles takes the restart and Reinach get the ball to Harrison who takes Saints out of the 22. Reinach looks to clear but it's charged down, Saints collect it again though and Reinach has another go. This one gets away and Kellaway gets under it. Saints play on. 

Van Wyk romps the ball in the air as we restart. Reinach chips through and Saints steal the ball again as Quins fail to scramble back. The ball comes wide and Saints earn a penalty as Tapuai fails to roll away. Biggar points to the posts. 

A HIA for Lawes and a blood bin for Hill as we restart, with Coles and Franks replacing them respectively. 

Hidalgo-Clyne chips over the top as Quins' attack gets nowhere and the ball heads pas the try line. Biggar dots it down and we'll restart with a 22 drop. 

Hidalgo-Clyne boxes clear and Tuala marks it as he collects the high ball. The winger turned full back clears and Brown is there. Quins play on.

Naiyaravoro runs the ball after some aerial tennis on the restart. Marshall breaks through but his offload to Lawes comes forwards. Quins play on.

Smith calls for the posts as we restart things here. 

A change for Saints as Furbank took a nasty knock in the build up to the penalty and he's replaced by Kellaway as we restart.

Quins collect the lineout and come forwards. There's an advantage coming and after Quins chip over the top to nothing we come back for it. 

Tuala is on the restart again and Saints push their way out of the 22 before the ball comes back to Biggar to clear. Lineout Quins.

Hutchinson breaks through off the back of the lineout and Van Wyk is with him. Saints make it up to the five metre line and are still pushing. 

Robshaw looks to go off the back of the lineout but Reinach takes him down. Quins keep coming but Marshall gets over the ball and earns Saints the penalty. Biggar sends it into the corner for a lineout on Quins' 22. 

Tuala takes there restart and Saints push forwards. Reinach boxes and Quins have the lineout back near halfway. 

Penalty Saints at the breakdown and Biggar calls for his tee. 

Saints pressure well at the restart and turn the ball over. Harrison gets the ball into Quins' 22 and Saints keep coming. 

Penalty Quins as they come forwards and the posts are called again. 

Scrappy at this lineout too but Quins hold on. Alofa finds Earle out wide and he makes it up to the 22 before he's taken down. Quins chip it the other way but Saints hold them on the 22 for now.

The ball goes loose at the lineout but Saints recover it. Reinach boxes clear and Quins have the lineout.

Tapuai chips through into space and Saints will have the lineout back in their own 22. 

22 drop Saints then and Biggar sends it high. Quins just get a hand to it first and they play on.

Saints clear the kick-off well but Quins collect. They have an advantage coming for a high tackle which we come back for. Smith points to the posts.
