Northampton Saints vs Bath Rugby

Bath get up to tap the restart back but they knock on at the next ruck. Scrum Saints.

Bath come forwards from the restart, working out of their 22. But there's a knock on from the away side there and Saints play on.

James and Dingwall make way as we restart, with Braley and Grayson taking their places. 

Saints defend hard and eventually dive on the loose ball. It comes wide to Collins who races forwards but his offload to Hutchinson comes forwards. Bath play on and there's a penalty there for a high tackle from Saints. Spencer puts it into the corner. 

Nansen replaces Salakaia-Loto as we set the scrum. 

Saints knock on the restart though and Bath will have the scrum. 

Changes for Saints as we restart: Cruse and Matavesi enter play, with R Smith and Augustus making way.

Solid at the scrum from both side this time and Bath are forced to use it. Spencer puts it on his boot and Ramm returns it. But there's a knock on from Bath and Saints scoop up and play on.

Free kick Saints at the scrum as Bath push early and F Smith sends the ball high. De Glanville is under it and Spencer sends it high himself. But there's another knock on and this time it's off Saints. Scrum Bath. 

No conversion from Bailey out wide and Bath knock on the high ball as they return it on the restart. Scrum Saints.

A Waller and Hill take their leave as we restart, with E Waller and Petch taking their places.

Penalty Bath at the lineout too as Saints touch the jumper too early. Bailey puts this one into the corner.

The penalty goes Bath's way at the scrum this time though and Bailey sends it into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Saints push on halfway now but as Dingwall just breaks through his offload doesn't quite go to hand. Scrum Bath.

James takes the penalty quickly and charges into Bath's 22 but there the ball comes loose and Bath clear. Saints run it back and Ramm hacks through into space but the ball just bobbles over the try line and Bailey dots it down. Goal line drop out for Bath.

Saints maul forwards before R Smith breaks himself. Saints come forwards from there before James chips through. Bath return it though and Saints charge up into Bath's half now.

F Smith puts the ball into touch for a lineout.

Another huge shove from Saints' pack and the penalty goes their way again. 

Bath chip over the top and Saints regather, Augustus trucking it forwards. But his offload to James doesn't quite go to hand and Bath have the scrum.

Hutchinson is there for the restart and he pushes Saints forwards before James boxes high. Bath get there first and play on.

F Smith sends the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Penalty coming for Saints from the lineout and they play on before we come back for it. 

Huge shove from Saints and it's a penalty for the home side there. F Smith puts it into touch for a lineout on Bath's 22.

Saints go over the top to Hutchinson but there's a knock on as the centre tries to offload and Bath have the scrum. 

Scott-Young is up for the lineout again and Saints come forwards. James chips over the top and Hamer-Webb returns it, finding touch. Lineout Saints back near halfway. 

Penalty Saints off the restart as Bath fail to roll away once again and F Smith puts it into touch for a lineout in Bath's half. 

Another penalty goes Saints' way at the breakdown and this one Saints take it quickly. 

Saints come forwards but when the ball bobbles out of a scrappy ruck, it's a Bath boots the touches it last before it heads into touch. Lineout Saints again.

Saints push up with an advantage coming and when the ball goes forwards on the five metre line we come back for it. F Smith puts it into the corner. 

Good scrum from Saints and James finds F Smith off the back of it. He sends the ball through into space and though De Glanville is there, his clearing kick heads into touch. Lineout Saints on Bath's 22. 

Salakaia-Loto is up for the restart and Saints maul forwards before James sends it high. Saints' defence is up quickly and get the reward in a Bath knock on. Scrum Saints. 

Bailey gets us restarted here at the Gardens!

Saints hold Bath's maul this time and Schreuder boxes high. Collins is there and Saints play on. James sends it high and though Saints get over the ball as it comes down, the penalty goes Bath's way. Bailey puts it into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Collins clears on the restart, finding touch. Lineout Bath back on halfway. 

Scott-Young is up for the lineout again and Saints push up, earning a penalty as Bath fail to roll away again. F Smith points to the posts. 

Saints get the penalty as Bath fail to roll away on the restart and though James takes it quickly and makes it up to Bath's 22, the ball is stripped in the tackle and Bath clear. Lineout Bath.

Hill returns from the sin bin, with Collins retaking his place on the wing while Petch makes way. 

Scott-Young is up for the lineout but he's taken early in the air and Saints have the penalty. F Smith puts it into touch for a lineout on halfway this time. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum as they get the shove on and F Smith sends it to touch. Lineout Saints.

Petch replaces Collins so we can set the scrum. 

Saints defend hard and the rewards come as Bath knock the ball on in contact. Scrum Saints.

Bailey chips over the top and though James clears the ball is touched in flight and we come back for a Bath lineout in Saints' 22. 

Bath push up to Saints' 22 from the lineout but Saints steal the ball again as they make it up to the five metre line. James clears to touch well and Bath have the lineout again back outside Saints' 22. 

A change for Saints as we set the lineout, with Hutchinson replacing Proctor as we restart.

Bath maul forwards before breaking off but Saints strip the ball in a tackle and play on before F Smith clears to touch. Lineout Bath back near halfway.

Schreuder sends the box kick up off the restart and though Ramm is there, Saints are penalised for stopping a tackle on the fullback. Bailey sends the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout in Saints' half. 

Bath maul forwards before Dunn goes alone. They push into Saints' 22 and keep coming.

Bath push up against Saints' lines and eventually get the penalty as Saints are pinged for obstruction. Bailey sends it to touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Saints are back up to the halfway line quickly after charging runs from Augustus and Scott-Young. James sends the ball high there and though Bath collect, Saints' defence is up quickly and Schreuder boxes high himself. 

Saints maul forwards and earn a penalty there as Bath come in at the side. F Smith puts it back into the corner. 

Scott-Young is up for the lineout and James boxes high. Saints chase as there's a push off the ball from Bath on F Smith, with the penalty going Saints' way because of it. Lineout Saints in Bath's 22. 

Advantage is over as James boxes high and De Glanville is there to gather and clear to touch. Lineout Saints on halfway.

Moon rises highest on the restart and Saints push forwards before James sends the ball high. Bath knock on as it comes down and Saints play on.

Saints push into Bath's 22 but the away side strip the ball and clear. F Smith is back there and he charges forwards before dropping the ball on his boot. Ramm is in chase but De Glanville just gets there first. But Saints pressure well and earn the penalty, with F Smith sending it to the corner. 

Schreuder clears to touch from the restart and Saints will have the lineout just outside Bath's 22. 

Schreuder sends the box kick up again off the lineout and Collins is under this one. James returns it and Bath play on.

Penalty Bath at the scrum as it comes down and Gallagher sends it to touch for a lineout. 

But Dingwall breaks as Schreuder chips over the top, charging up to halfway with Augustus on his shoulder. The No. 8 charges up to 22 but loses control of the ball in contact. Scrum Bath there. 

Bath come forwards but James gathers a chip and charges forwards himself, finding Freeman on his shoulder. The wing makes it to halfway before dropping the ball on his boot. Bath get back to gather.

Schleuder sends the box kick up again but this time Bath regather as it hangs in the air. They play a few phases before the scrum-half sends it high again, Saints play on this time.

Solid at the scrum from both sides and Schreuder box kicks high off the ball. Saints gather and push forwards before James puts the ball on his own boot. Bath gather and play on again.

But there's a knock on in contact there and Bath have the first scrum. 

Ramm gets up and gathers the kick-off and Saints are quickly up into Bath's 22.
