London Irish vs Northampton Saints

Penalty Saints at the breakdown of the lineout and Grayson puts it into the corner. 

Knock on into touch from Irish on the restart and Saints have the lineout.

Sylvester steals the lineout and Saints push forwards up to halfway quickly. Aerial tennis ensues from there and it's Irish who break the stalemate on halfway.

Advantage coming for Irish at the scrum and we come back for it eventually. Jennings puts the ball into touch for a lineout in Saints' half.

An injured Burns is replaced by Cruse as set the lineout.

Not straight from Saints at the lineout though and Irish have the scrum. 

Penalty Saints at the breakdown and Grayson puts it into the corner. 

Atkins clears from the restart and Saints have the lineout on halfway.

Wilkins and Cruse make way for Saints as we restart, with Burns and Sylvester taking their places.

Irish push back into Saints' 22 from the drop out and though Matavesi jumps on loose ball at the next phase, Irish get over it to earn the penalty. Jennings points to the posts.

Lockett replaces Nansen as we restart.

Irish clear and Hendy is there, his clearing kick is charged down though and Grayson dots down over the try line. Goal line drop out Saints.

Saints steal the lineout and push forwards before James boxes downfield. Loader is there and Irish play on on halfway.

Scrappy ball for Irish as Saints defend hard but they're penalised for picking up the ball when it wasn't out of the back of the ruck. Atkins put the ball into the corner for a lineout there.

Matavesi replaces Litchfield as we set the lineout.

Penalty Irish at the maul as it comes down and Atkins send the ball into touch for a lineout near halfway. 

James boxes high from the restart and Coles wins back the bouncing ball. Saints come left but the last pass finds touch instead of Litchfield's hands and Irish have the lineout.

Penalty Irish at the scrum again and Atkins puts it into touch for a lineout inside Saints' half. 

Grayson hacks through and chases himself but the ball just goes dead before he can get there. We come back for a scrum to Irish.

Free kick Irish at the scrum but Atkins' touch finder stays in play and Saints play on on hallway. 

Wilkins is up for the lineout but Irish halt Saints' maul and earn the put in at the scrum. 

James sends the box kick up off the restart and though Englefield is there, James chases and pushes his opposite number into touch. Lineout Saints in Irish's 22.

Trio of replacements for Saints: Waller, Petch and Braley make way, with Hobbs-Awoyemi, Painter and James taking their place.

Penalty Irish at this scrum and Atkins sends it to touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Grayson sends a crossfield over for Litchfield and though the centre gathers the ball bobbles into touch as it comes forwards in contact. Scrum Irish. 

Braley boxes high on the restart and Irish push back. But Hinkley strips the ball in a tackle and Saints play on.

Hendy comes forwards as Irish return the restart and Saints earn a penalty at the breakdown too. Grayson points to the posts.

Solid at this scrum but Irish get the ball away. Saints defend hard at Irish push forwards but are penalised for not rolling away at the breakdown and Jennings puts it into the corner.

Saints try to come wide but there's a forward pass there and Irish will have the scrum this time. 

Saints get the ball away at the scrum and Hendy charges forwards to get play into Irish's half.

Knock on from Irish at the restart and Saints will have the scrum. 

Just one point in it here as Atkins get us restarted here at Gtech Community Stadium.

Jennings points to the posts with the penalty. 

Hendy replaces Sleightholme as the winger heads off for a HIA.

Irish think they've scored but there's a medic out there and we come back for a penalty to Irish in the build up instead.

Time's up as we set the lineout and Irish up into Saints' 22 off it.

Englefield boxes off the restart and Saints come forwards. Earning a penalty at the breakdown there too. Grayson puts it into the touch for a lineout on Irish's 22.

Nansen is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards before Braley sends it high. The bouncing ball lands for Saints and they play on. But Irish knock on at the breakdown and Saints have the scrum.

Short at the lineout from Irish and they come forwards quickly. Loader puts the ball on his boot and it heads dead. Goal line drop out Saints to restart. 

Irish clear from the lineout again but Sleightholme takes this lien out quickly. Saints whip the ball left before Hutchinson boots it high. Irish just get there first and there's a penalty for the home side at the breakdown too as Saints fail release. Atkins puts the ball into touch for a lineout.

Grayson sends the ball downfield again off the lineout and Irish will have the lineout inside their own 22. 

Englefield boxes clear off the lineout but the ball heads straight out and we come back for a Saints lineout inside Irish's half now.

Irish push up to Saints' five metre but Litchfield rips the ball in a tackle and Grayson clears downfield. Lineout Irish back inside their own half. 

Penalty coming for Irish as Saints are found offside and Atkins puts this one into the corner. 

Atkins clears off the lineout and Collins is there but Irish turn over at the next phase and play on on hallway. 

Saints maul forwards before the ball comes wide right to Sleightholme. But Irish manage to get over the ball as Saints begin to build the phases and Atkins sends the ball into touch. Lineout Irish back near halfway. 

Wilkins is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards, earning the advantage there that we come back for when Grayson's crossfield doesn't quite sit for Sleightholme. Hutchinson sends the  penalty into touch for a lineout just outside Irish's 22. 

Saints hold Irish's maul and are rewarded at the breakdown too as Irish come in at the side. Grayson puts the ball into touch for a lineout.

Penalty Irish as there's a no arms tackle from Saints and Atkins puts the ball into the corner. 

Irish try a chip again as they push off the lineout but it hits a Saints body and heads into touch. Lineout Irish.

Irish try to chip over the top as they push into Saints' 22 but Collins is there to gather. The ball comes back to Grayson ton clear and he finds touch. Lineout Irish back near halfway. 

Penalty Irish as Saints hit Loader in the air as he takes the restart and Atkins puts the ball into touch for an Irish lineout on halfway. 

Irish get up to steal the lineout though and play on inside their own half. 

But Graham turns the ball over in the maul and Saints are awarded the penalty as Irish fail to release at the next ruck. Grayson puts the ball into touch for a lineout on Irish's 22. 

But there's some afters as the maul comes up and Irish are awarded the penalty. Atkins puts the ball into touch for a lineout.

Irish defend hard at the maul and earn the put in at the scrum for their efforts.

Graham is up for the lineout again Saints come forwards quickly. Sleightholme drops the ball on his boot and it bobbles into touch off an Irish foot. Lineout Saints in Irish's 22. 

Irish works up to Saints' 22 off the lineout but their Saints' defence pushes them back and they get the rewards in the form, of a breakdown penalty. Grayson puts it into touch for a lineout back inside Irish's half. 

No conversion for Grayson outs wide but Collins claims the restart and Saints push forwards before Braley clears to touch. Lineout Irish back near halfway. 

Another advantage coming for Saints as they push from close range.

Graham is up for the lineout and Saints come fowards into Irish's 22 quickly. Waller carries hard to get play up to the five metre line and still Saints push.
