Franklin’s Gardens will host three tournament finals this week, with teams from across the region battling it out for silverware as the season draws to a close.
The Oceanic Trophy final is first up, taking place tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6pm, with Olney playing Buckingham. This season, Buckingham reached the fifth round of the National Colts Cup, whilst Olney U17s were beaten at the semi final stage of the National U17 Cup, so it should be a well contested final.
Immediately after the first match is the Lewis Shield final with Bletchley, in only their first appearance in this competition, taking on South West 1 East table toppers Towcestrians at 7:45pm.
The last of these three tournament finals takes place on Thursday at 7:30pm as Old Northamptonians, looking to continue their winning streak in the competition which stretches back to 2004, take on Bugbrooke, winners of the Lewis Shield in 1991 and 2011.
Admission to these matches is £5 for adults and £2 for Under-16s, payable on the gate. Car parking is available via Ross Road car parks.
