Bid to be a mascot at Saints v Gloucester and raise money for Poppy Appeal

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

The remembrance ceremony provides Franklin’s Gardens with one of the most atmospheric moments during the season. Three wreaths are laid at the stadium’s war memorial, with a verse read from Laurence Binyon’s poem, ‘For The Fallen’, with players and supporters alike paying their respects.

The Saints has a long-standing association with the British Army which dates back over a hundred years, and both the Poppy collection and the annual bucket shake on behalf of the Army Benevolent Fund raise thousands of pounds.

Each Saints player walks out with a mascot, with 23 places available in all.

Bidding will be made by silent auction via email, with the 23 largest bids winning both a place as a mascot and two tickets for the mascot and an accompanying parent or guardian.

Mascots must be aged between 8 and 14, and available on Saturday, November 9th.

To place a bid email [email protected] no later than 9am on Wednesday, November 6th, including the name and age of the mascot, the name of the person making the bid, and a daytime contact number.
