Day: No room for slip ups

Having drawn an opening round blank in Paris, the Saints responded in good fashion to bonus point Ospreys at the Gardens. Racing still lead the way though with two wins from two and the second row says the side are targeting victory in each remaining game.

“Not even getting a bonus point in Paris means there are no second chances for us now,” Day told SaintsTV. “We need to win all of our games and probably try to pick up a few bonus points along the way.

“The first game this weekend is a tough one in Treviso and I don’t think you can really go into a game saying we ‘want’ five points. It’s always nice to pick up the bonus, but first and foremost we need to go out there and make sure we win.

“That will allow us, hopefully, to come back to Franklin’s Gardens the week after and look for more.”

Action from Stadio Monigo kicks off at 1pm (GMT) on Saturday and is being shown live on Sky Sports 2 via the red button.

The return leg seven days later is already selling well and is a last chance to see the Saints at home in 2015, the East Midlands derby long sold out.
