The winger pipped fellow Academy graduates Mike Haywood and Tom Stephenson to the award after a string of excellent performances in black, green and gold.
Elliott played every minute of the month, leading the team in terms of metres made and also being named man of the match in arguably the biggest victory of the month, the away triumph at Bath.
“Jamie is a player who provides a consistently high level of performance and this was never more evident than last month,” director of rugby Jim Mallinder commented. “His performance against Bath in particular was outstanding and he is a more than worthy winner.”
While Elliott was receiving his award, Steffans also presented TW Steel Clubman of the Month Nick Card with a bottle of champagne for his valued input to the club’s strength and conditioning department.
“Nick is a great asset to the performance department,” head of performance Marc Finney said. “Always on point, Nick has helped with our player management systems and continues to help on a range of important day to day tasks.
“His support means we can continue to get the best out of our players every week.”
