Saints have partnered with Pledgeball for the Green Game

Green Game 2026: Make a pledge, win prizes, support a greener future

MAKE A PLEDGE GREEN GAME INFO

Northampton Saints are once again teaming up with Pledgeball as part of this season’s Green Game, inviting supporters to make small but meaningful changes that can have a lasting impact well beyond matchday.

This weekend’s Gallagher PREM fixture against Bath at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens isn’t just about what happens on the pitch.

It’s also an opportunity for Saints supporters to be part of a collective effort to reduce carbon emissions by making simple, practical changes to their everyday lives.

What is Pledgeball?

Pledgeball is a supporter‑led movement that helps fans turn intentions into action.

By making a pledge linked to the Green Game, supporters commit to small changes – such as travelling more sustainably, reducing waste or choosing lower‑carbon food options – with each pledge contributing to a combined emissions‑saving total.

Designed to be achievable, flexible and relevant to daily life, all pledges will contribute towards Northampton Saints’ Green Game total – helping demonstrate the power of supporter action when thousands come together with a shared purpose.

Saints are hoping that fan pledges this year could total more than 300,000 kgCO2e, the equivalent of taking around 65 cars off the road.

See how many kilograms of CO2e have been saved through our supporters’ pledges so far HERE – with live updates set to be displayed on the big screen throughout matchday.

Saints’ players are also backing the campaign, with figures including Fin Smith, Tommy Freeman, Alex Mitchell, Rory Hutchinson, Emmanuel Iyogun, Danilo Fischetti and Archie McParland all taking on pledges of their own to support the Club’s sustainability efforts.

Get involved and win

For this year’s Green Game, making an eco-friendly pledge via Pledgeball, and then sticking to it, will help drive real environmental impact and support a greener future.

The potential that Saints supporters have to create and drive change is significant – if a full cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens pledged just to recycle everything they could, it would save the same amount of emissions as taking over 850 cars off the road entirely!

Supporters who submit a pledge will also be entered into a prize draw to win a signed Saints shirt from the 2025/26 season.

Like all playing jerseys available from the Saints Store, the prize is made from Macron’s Eco Fabric – which is certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

One winner will be selected at random following the Green Game, and fans can pledge up until midnight on Saturday.

You can also get involved on matchday by visiting the passing cage in the Inclusion Hub. Supporters who score 15 points and make a pledge will be entered into a second prize draw to win four tickets to Saints’ next home match against Bristol Bears.

More than just one weekend

“The Green Game is not about implementing a series of one-off matchday initiatives to create a singular ‘net zero’ event and then going back to normal,” said Saints’ Chief Executive, Julia Chapman.

“Instead, it is about asking our supporters to join us in taking collective action for the long term. Our reach across our supporter-base gives us a fantastic platform, not just to make it easy for our supporters to make climate-positive choices on a matchday, but to encourage them to join us in making changes to their daily habits wherever they are able.

“To this end, the Club are delighted to have partnered with Pledgeball again for this year’s Green Game to track our supporters’ commitments and highlight the impact that collective action can have.”

Supporters can make their pledge online right up until midnight on matchday and help shape this year’s Green Game impact.
