Northampton Saints host Gloucester Rugby (Saturday 31 October, kick-off: 5.30pm) at DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens in their final Gallagher PREM fixture before the autumn leg of the Nations Championship and the next block of PREM Rugby Cup matches.

The men in Black, Green and Gold will be looking to right the wrongs of last weekend’s East Midlands derby defeat as they host the Cherry and Whites – who sit top of the PREM table after four rounds.

Saints did the league double over Gloucester last season, with a 35-37 away victory early in the campaign before once again securing victory at DPD Stadium in a 36-32 thriller in May.

CAR PARKING

  • West Northamptonshire Council took ownership of the Claret Car Park last summer and is building temporary accommodation on part of the site. This means there are 400 fewer parking spaces than previously available, so supporters are encouraged to arrive early and plan ahead.
  • The entrance to Claret Car Park has changed. As you approach from the Sixfields direction, use the first entrance on the right-hand side.
  • A new ANPR barrier system is now in operation at Claret Car Park, which is operated and managed by West Northamptonshire Council. Parking remains £10 on matchdays.
  • Supporters using Claret Car Park are strongly advised to pay at the pay station on arrival, or register for WestPARK in advance, to help ensure a smoother exit after the match. The exit barrier will not open until payment has been made.
  • Full information on the new Claret Car Park system, payment options and matchday parking arrangements is available HERE.
  • Supporters also have access to Northampton Town FC’s West Car Park (NN5 5QA) on Saints matchdays that do not clash with Cobblers’ home games. Parking is managed by Northampton Town FC and costs £5 on the day, payable via contactless payment on arrival. Please note that Saints’ seasonal car parking passes are not valid for this car park. It will be open from 2.30pm.
  • Seasonal car passes valid for the 2026/27 season will be accepted in the Club’s car parks for this match.
  • Please also be aware that there will be no movement in the VIP Car Park from ten minutes before the full-time whistle for approximately 25 minutes. As usual, traffic management will be in place in Car Park D, Claret Car Park and on Edgar Mobbs Way.
  • Please note; due to a Halloween/Fireworks event taking place at Duston Mill on Saturday, there may be more traffic than usual in the Sixfields area before and after Saturday’s match.
  • After the car parks close at midnight, there will be no access to any vehicle left behind until Monday morning.
  • Given that DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens sits in a residential area of the town, Saints strongly urge all supporters to use official matchday car parks wherever possible. Should they choose not to do so, supporters must park with due care and respect for the needs of local residents and businesses.

  • EcoCups should be returned to any stadium bar or placed in the dedicated EcoCup return bins located throughout the ground.
  • Supporters are kindly asked not to take cups home, as their reuse is essential to the Club’s sustainability efforts.

NORTHAMPTON SAINTS FOUNDATION

  • Supporters can ‘Be A Saint’ by Ordering One For The Foundation. A voluntary £1 donation will then be added to their order at stadium bars, with all proceeds going directly to Northampton Saints Foundation.

FOR THE KIDS

  • The Club requests that supporters refrain from standing at the side of the pitch to watch the warm-up to prevent congestion. Please watch the warm-up from your seat.
  • As DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a front-loading stadium, Northampton Saints asks supporters to avoid moving around the stadium while the match is in play to avoid blocking the view of your fellow supporters. Please note, you may be held back from returning to your seat by our stewards until there is a break in play.
  • Sensory Bags and Accessibility Passports are available to collect from the Family Zone.
  • Please note that, with the current UK terror threat level classified as ‘severe’, there will be increased security measures around the stadium.
