Guide to the Gardens: Northampton Saints vs Munster Rugby

  • Stadium opens 10.30am, kick-off 12.30pm.
  • Tickets for Sunday’s match are completely SOLD OUT, please arrive early to avoid queues. 
  • This game is NOT included in 23/24 Season Ticket packages.
  • Don’t forget to collect a free flag from our Halos as you enter the stadium! 
  • We’ll be joined by the Horn Brokers in the stadium at half-time. 
  • Musician Hannah Faulkner will perform on Sunday in the Supporter Village pre-match and the Rodber Bar post-match.
  • Please note, we are not able to store travelling supporters’ luggage anywhere within the stadium. 

Northampton Saints welcome Munster Rugby to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday 7 April (kick-off: 12.30pm) in the Investec Champions Cup Round of 16 clash. 

The men in Black, Green and Gold sealed a dramatic 23-26 victory in the final Pool round of the competition at Thomond Park, with a late Sam Graham try and 16 points from Fin Smith’s boot securing the historic win back in January. 

We’re expecting a full house at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday – tickets for the clash between Saints and Munster are completely SOLD OUT, so please allow plenty of time to get into your seat or place on the Terrace!

  • + TICKETS – SOLD OUT!

    • Tickets for Northampton Saints vs Munster are completely SOLD OUT, no further tickets will be available from the Ticket Office on matchday. 
    • Your match tickets are attached to your purchase confirmation email – please ensure you have these either printed on A4 paper, viewable on your smartphone, or added to your smartphone digital wallet before arriving at the stadium. Screenshots of your tickets are not accepted by the scanners on our turnstiles.
    • Please note, this game is NOT included in your 23/24 Season Ticket package. If you do not have a match ticket for this game, unfortunately, you will not be allowed entry. 

     

  • + TICKET OFFICE

    • The Ticket Office will be open from 10am, until 15 minutes after kick-off (approx. 12.45pm).
    • Those who have not printed their tickets at home, or are not able to show their barcode on a mobile phone, will be able to have their matchday ticket printed at the Ticket Office for a £2.50 fee.

     

  • + 24/25 SEASON TICKETS

    • Northampton Saints Season Tickets are now available to renew or buy for the 2024/25 season – with the Ticket Office open from 10am until approximately 12.45pm on matchday for supporters wishing to purchase or renew in person.
    • Prices* start from just £335 for adults and £57 for children – while the waiting list is open once again for the entry-level Pink ticket category (£199 adult / £57 child).

  • + SAINTS STORE

    • The Saints Store is open from 10am on matchday until kick-off (12.30pm) before reopening for 30 minutes after the final whistle.
    • Once you have entered the ground you will not be able to access the Saints Store, but the Village Store will be open throughout matchday.
    • There are now two stores in the Supporter Village, with the main Village Store and new Trailer Store open from 10.30am until 30 minutes after the final whistle.

     

  • + ENTERTAINMENT

    • Make sure you collect a free flag from one of our Halos on your way into the stadium on Sunday! 
    • We’ll be joined by solo artist Hannah Faulkner in the Supporter Village pre-match and in Rodber Bar post-match.
    • And the Horn Brokers will play in the stadium bowl during the half-time break. 
    • Our Inclusion Hub is closed for this match – but you’ll be able to find our face painters in the Rodber Bar. 
    • Club Partner Spirit Hyundai will be in the Village on Sunday showcasing one of their vehicles – see them to find out more.
    • Stick around after the match to see if you can catch one of Saints’ signed balls!

     

  • + MUNSTER SUPPORTERS

    • We’re looking forward to welcoming you all to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday. 
    • But please note, we are not able to store any luggage anywhere within the stadium. Please only bring items that comply with our Ground Regulations into the stadium. 

     

  • + FOR THE KIDS

    • Are you bringing a mini-Saint to their very first match at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens? If so, we want to make it extra special with a First-time Fan Certificate, so they will never forget their first time watching the men in Black, Green and Gold. Fill out THIS FORM to be sent a certificate via email.
    • Kids can also play along with our new MATCHDAY BINGO cards during the match – to make the game even more fun!
    • And for anyone whose weekly pocket money is burning a hole in their pocket, we’ve curated a special list of items for just £10 and under available from the Saints Store on matchday.

     

  • + FOOD & DRINK

    • A wide selection of bars and food stalls are open within the Village and stadium throughout matchday – please see the map above for full details of all the Food & Drink outlets around the Stadium.
    • You can also find food units from Saul’s of Spratton and West Cornwall Pasties in the Rodber Bar throughout matchday.
    • Loaded Fries are available as a hot food option within the Members Bar.  
    • Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are all available around the ground. 
    • Please be aware that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a cashless stadium; all bars and food outlets will only accept card payments.
    • There will be a staggered bar closure around the stadium, ending in the Rodber Bar at 3.45pm.

     

  • + MEMBERSHIPS/REWARDS

    • All Season Ticket Holders and Saints Members will earn 15 Saints Rewards points for attending this fixture.
    • You can also earn an additional 30 points for entering the ground within one hour of the gates opening at 11.30am.
    • Link your payment card to your Saints Rewards account (instructions HERE) and spend at the bar and food outlets around the ground to earn even more points on your account.

     

  • + CAR PARKING

    • Car Parking (in Claret Car Park, NN5 5JT) will be available for £7.50 on the day via contactless payment upon arrival. Car parking tickets are not available to purchase in advance. Car Parks open at 9.30am, with the stadium opening its gates at 10.30am.
    • 23/24 Seasonal Car Park holders will be able to use their passes for this match. 
    • Please also be aware that there will be no movement in the VIP Car Park from ten minutes before the full-time whistle for approximately 25 minutes. As usual, traffic management will be in place in Car Park D, Claret Car Park and on Edgar Mobbs Way. 
    • After the Car Parks close at 6pm on Sunday, there will be no access to any vehicle left behind until Monday morning.
    • Given that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens sits in a residential area of the town, Saints strongly urge all supporters to use the Club’s car parks. Should they choose not to do so, supporters must park with due care and respect for the needs of local residents and businesses.

     

  • + SMOKING

    • cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a NO SMOKING stadium. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere in the stadium or Supporter Village pre, during or post-match. 
    • Supporters wishing to smoke will be allowed to exit the stadium during half-time to use one of the designated smoking areas outside Gates 1, 2, 3 and 4 – stewards will be on hand to direct you and will manage exit and re-entry into the stadium.

     

  • + ECO-CUPS

    • Please note, refunds on EcoCup deposits will now ONLY be made to over-18s – please do not encourage children to collect EcoCups that do not belong to your group, or ask other supporters for their cups.
    • Refunds on EcoCup deposits will ONLY be made contactlessly (via card) – cash refunds are no longer issued. 
    • Refunds on EcoCup returns will be available at at least one till unit in all bars across the stadium.
    • Alternatively, EcoCup deposits can be donated into one of the Northampton Saints Foundation’s branded bins around the ground – Northampton Saints Foundation will receive a donation for every cup deposited, with funds raised supporting life-changing programmes for children across the county. To see where you can donate your cups, please CLICK HERE.

     

  • + NORTHAMPTON SAINTS FOUNDATION

    • Don’t forget, you can drop your EcoCup in one of the Northampton Saints Foundation’s branded bins around the ground – the Foundation will receive a donation for every cup deposited, with funds raised supporting life-changing programmes for children across the county. To see where you can donate your cups, please CLICK HERE.
    • You can also have a go at the Northampton Saints Foundation’s raffle – find them in the Rodber Bar and around the Supporter Village on Sunday.

     

  • + OTHER IMPORTANT INFO

    • As the teams run out onto the pitch on Sunday, there will be a pyrotechnic display in front of both the Church’s and Carlsberg Stands – please be advised this may include a series of loud bangs/crackles.
    • ​The Club requests that supporters refrain from standing at the side of the pitch to watch the warm-up to prevent congestion. Please watch the warm-up from your seat.
    • As cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a front-loading stadium, Northampton Saints asks supporters to refrain from moving around the stadium while the match is in play to avoid blocking the view of your fellow supporters. Please note, you may be held back from returning to your seat by our stewards until there is a break in play.
    • Whether it’s your first time coming to a match or you’re a seasoned supporter, please take a minute to read our Ground Regulations – which include information on what you can and cannot bring into the stadium – and our Supporter Charter.
