Saints back Harry Mallinder has said how impressed he is with the level of coaching at the Elite Insurance Rugby Academies that are currently taking place.

Mallinder was joined at Stowe School on Wednesday by fellow Saints players Dylan Hartley, Teimana Harrison, George North, Courtney Lawes, Louis Picamoles, Kieran Brookes, Paul Hill and Luther Burrell to give coaching sessions on the five-day residential rugby camp.

Speaking to SaintsTV, Mallinder said: “The coaching quality is outstanding and the week that you get here is great.

“The opportunity you get here is almost like you’re a professional; staying over and getting such great coaching is incredible.”

As a youngster, Mallinder was a regular attendee of the residential camp at Stowe School, and he also went on to say how much he enjoyed taking part in those camps and how pleased he was to see so many enthusiastic young rugby players still coming along.

“I loved these camps when I was younger and for me as a fourteen year old I looked up to these senior players and hopefully they look up to our guys now.

“It’s great to come back and see so many enthusiastic young people playing rugby; it’s just a testament to how good a camp it is.”
