Mixed results for dual registered players

On Friday night four players were in Moseley's colours for the Championship trip to Newcastle. Sam Dickinson played for nearly an hour in his first start of the season, with Scott Armstrong and Tom Warren also starting at Kingston Park.

Danny Herriott came off the bench for the final 20 minutes, but Moseley were always going to have a tough night at the current undefeated league leaders and the Falcons ran out comfortable 36-3 winners.

The following afternoon there was more success on the other side of the country for Senior Academy forwards Jamie Warr and Darrell Dyer, who both saw action in Cambridge's National League One trip to Fylde.

Warr started the game with Dyer coming off the bench, and both helped Cambridge to a 33-27 win which well and truly upset the form book.

However there was heartache for Alex Woolford and his Coventry team mates. After coming back from a 20-6 half-time deficit, Coventry were leading 33-27 going into the final minute. But a last-gasp penalty try was awarded to Richmond, with the conversion taking the final score to 34-33.
