Northampton Saints Community is inviting clubs throughout the region to its third annual Community Club Conference.
Held at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens – the home of the 2025/26 Gallagher PREM champions – the event takes place on Sunday 19 July, bringing together community coaches, club volunteers and committee members for an afternoon of learning, collaboration and development.
This year’s conference, which runs from 12.30pm until 4.30pm, will feature a packed programme including updates from Saints, Loughborough Lightning and the RFU, followed by a series of practical workshops designed to support clubs both on and off the field.
There will be a chance to explore and learn more about Saints affiliate club Peterborough RFC’s Leadership Development Pathway (LDP) – an initiative designed to empower young people through rugby and equip them with skills that reach far beyond the game.
Participants will also gain information about England Rugby Learning, the RFU’s central hub for coach, match official, volunteer and club‑development education. It brings together all of the RFU’s training programmes, courses, workshops and learning resources under one umbrella, ensuring that everyone involved in the game has access to high‑quality, consistent development.
Regency Purchasing Group will be on site to offer support on reducing costs, generating revenue and identifying grant opportunities.
The day will conclude with a hands‑on Coaching CPD session delivered by Northampton Saints staff, focused on session design and maximising player development across the age‑grade pathway.
“We’re delighted to bring back the Community Club Conference for a third successive year,” said Head of Saints Community, Ben Lawrence.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to network, share best practice and gain insight from experts across the game. The conference has progressed year on year and is now a key date in the regional rugby calendar.
“Whether you are an age‑grade coach, volunteer manager, coach development lead, mini & youth chair or a club committee member, there is definitely something here for you, and we look forward to seeing clubs from throughout our region in attendance.”
