VIEW FIXTURES UPDATE YOUR PREFERENCES
Northampton Saints have had their schedule for this season’s Investec Champions Cup pool stages confirmed, with European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) today announcing the first batch of fixtures for the 2026/27 campaign.
The men in Black, Green and Gold were drawn into Pool 4 earlier this month – with Cardiff Rugby, Montpellier Hérault Rugby, Stade Français Paris and Vodacom Bulls confirmed as their opposition for the opening rounds.
Fellow Gallagher PREM side Bath Rugby were also drawn into Pool 4, but will not face Northampton in the pool stage.
Phil Dowson’s Saints side claimed wins in three of their four pool stage clashes last season – defeating Section Paloise (27-35) on the road before claiming wins against Vodacom Bulls (50-5) and Scarlets (43-28) on home soil at Franklin’s Gardens.
A home Round-of-16 victory over Castres Olympique set up a trip to the Recreation Ground in the Quarter-Finals to face Bath, and after Saints’ journey was ended at that stage in a last-minute 43-41 loss, Northampton will be hoping to go all the way this season.
This term, the men in Black, Green and Gold kick-off their European campaign at Franklin’s Gardens, where they play host to Cardiff Rugby on Sunday 18 October (kick-off: 5.30pm).
Saints then head on the road for Rounds 2 and 3 – first facing Stade Français in Paris on Friday 11 December (kick-off: 8pm UK time), before heading to Montpellier at the start of 2027.
The final pool clash will see the men in Black, Green and Gold head back to Northampton to host Bulls for the third time in four seasons at Franklin’s Gardens on Friday 15 January (kick-off: 8pm).
