Six Saints in contention for England’s Barbarians clash

Alex Moon, David Ribbans, Fraser Dingwall, Piers Francis, George Furbank and Alex Mitchell have all been retained by Eddie Jones for England’s Quilter Cup match against the Barbarians this Sunday.

The uncapped clash (2pm kick-off) at Twickenham will be the first match since March for the Red Rose, with head coach Jones preparing for the final round of the delayed 2020 Six Nations and subsequent Autumn Nations Cup tournament.

Jones said: “This is important game for us and we’re looking forward to getting back to Twickenham and playing rugby.

“We’ve had two really good camps, going back to basics and how we want to play. The Barbarians squad has a rich blend of talent, so this week we’ll be testing ourselves under pressure and looking to take our game to the next level.”
