Tonga'uiha relishing final Saints challenge

It's been a truly epic journey for 'Tiny' who, having tasted relegation with the Saints in his very first season at the club, would play a crucial role as the Saints were first promoted and then re-established themselves as a force in both the Premiership and Europe.

Having forged a formidable front row combination with club skipper Dylan Hartley, the prop favourite and his partner in crime, Brian Mujati, will call time on outstanding Saints careers looking for a repeat of their dominant collective performance at Saracens less than a fortnight ago.

"I'm sure I can speak on Brian's behalf as well when I say that we didn't want the semi-final to be our last game for the Saints," Tonga'uiha told SaintsTV. "The boys were right behind us for that game and a lot of guys stepped up and led from the front.

"It was a massive achievement and something I really enjoyed. It's full credit to the squad for that performance and hopefully that's something we can repeat on Saturday."

No Saint heading to Twickenham has played more times in the black, green and gold than Tonga'uiha who, having taken in 17 knockout ties in his seven years at Franklin's Gardens - including five finals - has seen enough to believe that Saturday could be the Saints' day.

"I've always said that once we get into the knockout stages anything can happen and we've proven that in the semi-final as well as in the past. Come the final though you've got to put the past behind you again and focus on what's in front of you for the 80 minutes.
