Bio

Born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Trevor Davison began his rugby journey in the North East and progressed through the ranks at Blaydon RFC. His performances at National League level earned him over 100 appearances and led to selection for England Counties XV.

In 2017, Davison signed with Newcastle Falcons, stepping into the Premiership and becoming a cornerstone of the Falcons’ front row – accumulating over 100 appearances across league and European competitions. His contributions were instrumental during Newcastle’s promotion-winning 2019/20 season, and his consistent club form brought him to the attention of national selectors.

Davison earned his first England cap in July 2021, coming off the bench against the USA at Twickenham. He added a second cap later that year against Australia during the Autumn Nations Series. While his international appearances have since been limited, he has remained on the radar through continued involvement in training squads and camps.

In March 2023, Davison joined Northampton Saints mid-season to bolster the Club’s front-row depth. He made his debut shortly after arriving and quickly established himself as a reliable option at both tighthead and loosehead prop. His set-piece prowess made him a key asset during Saints’ end-of-season run and into subsequent campaigns.

Since arriving at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, Davison has become integral to the forward pack and a regular in the matchday squad, playing a key role in Saints’ Premiership-winning season in 2023/24 before bringing up his 50th appearance for the Club in May 2025 against Saracens. 

As a powerful and technically sound prop, Trevor brings strength in the set-piece, sharp mobility around the park, and a reputation as a tough and dependable competitor. His versatility, consistency, and experience make him a valuable presence in the squad, as he helps lead the next generation of front-row talent at Northampton.
