Bath Rugby vs Northampton Saints

Time's up as Ludlam and then Mitchell come forwards. Saints are within inches now.

Mitchel nearly slips through and Saints work towards Bath's 22 now. 

Harrison is upfront or the lineout and Augustus charges forwards. Saints are up to halfway now and still coming.

Penalty Saints at the scrum and Grayson sends it to touch. Lineout Saints on halfway. 

Clark breaks free of the restart but Bath knock the ball on as they get into Saints' 22. Scrum Saints there.

Penalty coming for Saints as they push forwards and we come back for it. Grayson puts it into the corner.

Moon is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards. Haywood goes himself and Saints push on now. Augustus gets things up to the five metre line and Saints keep coming.

Ludlam is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards quickly. Furbank puts the ball on his boot for Freeman but it heads into touch of Bath bodies. Lineout Saints in Bath's 22 now.

Penalty at the scrum for Saints and Grayson sends it to touch for a lineout on halfway.

Bath come wide but knock the ball on there. Scrum Saints. 

Simpson hacks through as Bath come forwards but Freeman gets to it first. Mitchell clears long but Bailiey manages to keep it in play. Bath play on. 

Saints gather the restart but Francis can't quite gather a quick offload from Haywood. Scrum Bath on Saints' 22. 

Saints shove hard but Bath somehow manage to keep the ball. Spencer sends it high again and Freeman is under it. Grayson and Hutchinson get play up to the halfway and still Saints come. 

The wind carries Grayson's conversion wide but Furbank gets under the restart and Mitchell sends the ball downfield. Bath scramble to gather and Saints' defence pushes up. Spencer sends the ball high but Saints knock on as it comes down. Scrum Bath now.

Harrison is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards through Haywood and Francis. They're deep inside Baht's 22 now and pushing.

Huge shove at the scrum from Saints and Grayson puts the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Moon enter the field in place of Nansen as the latter is helped from the field – hopefully nothing too serious for Brandon. 

We pause the game while Nansen is seen too after taking a knock to the head. 

Saints work into Bath's half but knock the ball on as it comes wide and Bath will have the scrum. 

Haywood and Grayson enter the field as we restart, with Matavesi and Proctor making way.

Spencer sends the ball high off the restart and Saints come back at them. 

Bath send the restart high and Saints can't gather as it comes down. Muir hacks through and makes it up to Saints' five metre line before he's taken down. 

Nansen and Francis enter play as we restart, with Ratuniyarawa and Collins making way.

Saints hold Bath's maul this time and and Dunn breaks away. But Saints are found offside as Bath get close to the line and Cipriani puts the ball into the corner again.

Waller is replaced by Iyogun as we set the lineout.

Bath maul and earn a penalty there. Cipriani puts it into the corner. 

Rokoduguni tries to slip through Saints' midfield but Saints hold firm. Cipriani chips and Collins is there. Saints push forwards through Augustus and Ludlam again before Mitchell sends the ball down field. Lineout Bath.

Coles steals the lineout and Saints whip the ball wide quickly. But the last pass goes forwards and Bath will have the scrum.

Furbank can't convert but Saints regather on the restart and Mitchell boxes clear well. Lineout Bath back near halfway. 

Coles is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards now.

Penalty coming for Saints as the continue to push in Bath's 22. Eventually we come back for it and Furbank puts it back into the corner.

Augustus charges forwards off the lineout, finding Ludlam and then Hill. Saints push up to Bath's 22 and earn a penalty at the breakdown there too. Furbank puts it into the corner. 

Bath hold Saints up on the restart and manage to steal the ball at the maul too. Joseph sends the ball cross field but the ball finds touch. Lineout Saints.

Cipriani gets us restarted here at the Rec.

Saints work hard at the lineout and force Bath to play the ball in the midfield. But Saints are penalised for another tackle off the ball and Cipriani points to the posts with the last play. 

Penalty Bath at the breakdown off the lineout and Cipriani puts it into the corner again.

Bath chip over the top again and Mitchell clears to touch this time. Lineout Bath on halfway. 

Matavesi charges Cipriano's chip off the line out and Furbank charges forwards before Hutchinson hacks the ball downfield. Bath gather and play on inside their own ww. 

The TMO spots a tackle off the ball from Saints in the build up and we come back for a Bath penalty on halfway. Cipriani sends it to touch for a lineout in Saints' 22. 

Bath send the ball high off the lineout and Clark manages to regather it. Bath push into Saints' half and the ball comes loose there but the referee deems it to have come off a Saints hand so we'll have a Bath scrum on Saints' 22. 

Bath push out of their 22 off the restart before Cipriani sends it through. Sleightholme gathers and races forwards before finding Freeman. The fullback darts down the right and finds Mitchell, the scrum-half chips over the top but his kick heads into touch before he can regather it. Lineout Bath inside their own 22.

Bath come forwards off the lineout and push from close range now. 

Overthrow at the lineout from Saints and Bath scamper forwards into Saints' half again. And then Saints are found offside, Cipriani sends the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Mitchell finds Augustus as the ball comes down and the scrum-half chips over the top. Bath knock the high ball on and scoop it up in an offside position too. Furbank sends the penalty into the corner. 

Furbank's long kick heads just wide and Bath will have the 22 drop out.

Bath knock on from the restart and Saints gather the loose ball before earning a penalty at the breakdown as Bath fail to roll away. Furbank points to the posts. 

Mitchell peels down the short side and hacks through for Freeman to chase but the kick heads straight out. We come back for a Bath lineout just outside Saints' 22. 

The sides exchange kicks before Bath knock the ball on in a tackle and Saints will have the scrum. 

Mitchell clears off the back of the scrum and De Glanville just manages to keep it in play. Spencer sends it high and Collins is under it. Saints play on on halfway. 

Knock on in the tackle from Bath off the restart and Saints will have the scrum inside their own 22. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum and Furbank puts it into the corner. 

Saints pressure again off the lineout and Coles scoops up a loose ball on the floor. He charges up to the five metre line but loses the ball in contact there. Scrum Bath. 

Saints defend hard off the lineout but are penalised for not releasing at the breakdown and Cipriani sends it to touch for a lineout on their own 22. 

Ludlam is up for the the lineout and Saints come round the corner into Bath's 22. Mitchell sends a long pass over to Ludlam who charges forwards but his offload finds touch instead of Augustus' hands. Lineout Bath on their five metre line. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum as it collapses and Furbank puts the ball into touch for a lineout on Bath's 22. 

Saints work hard at the maul and manage to turn the ball over. Mitchell boxes high and Spencer hacks the ball into space but the ball heads over the dead ball line and we come all the way back for a Saints scrum. 

Bath maul forwards and have an advantage coming. The ball comes wide but is kicked dead by Hutchinson and Clark tries to gather Cipriano's chip. We come back for the penalty and the fly-half sends it to the corner. 

After a reset, Bath are awarded the penalty at the scrum and Cipriani sends it to touch for a lineout in Saints' 22. 

Spencer sends it high and Collins is under it and Saints play on. The ball comes wide to Hutchinson, who slips through Bath's line before finding Sleightholme with the offload. The winger's pass back inside is forward though and we'll have a scrum on halfway. 

Bath look to come wide but Saints earn a penalty at the breakdown. Furbank's kick stays in field though and Bath play on.

Saints hold Bath's maul but the home side earn a penalty there as Saints come in at the side. Cipriani sends the ball to touch for a Bath lineout in Saints' 22.

Faletau comes forwards off the kick-off, pushing Bath upfield before Watson gets them over halfway. Cipriani sends a chip over Saints' line but Bath knock on collected and Mitchell clears to touch. Lineout Bath back near halfway.
