Northampton Saints vs Gloucester Rugby

Gloucester's maul makes it up to the five metre line before the ball comes out to build the phases.

No arms tackle from Saints and the clock heads into the red and Twelvetrees puts the ball into the corner.

Saints' defence holds Gloucester in their own 22 but the away side earn a penalty at the breakdown and Twelvetrees put it into touch for a lineout on halfway.

No conversion from out wide for Twelvetrees but Gloucester come forwards from the restart.

Garside and Skosan replace Braley and Ramm as we restart.

Cruse and Hinkley replace Smith and Scott-Young as we set the lineout.

Braley boots it high again and Chapman does the same. Braley sends the ball downfield again and this time Thorley knock the ball into touch. Lineout Saints inside Gloucester's half.

Coles claims the lineout and Saints maul forwards before Smith goes alone. Braley boxes high and thought Thorley is under it, Saints' defence is up quickly. Chapman puts the ball on his boot and Ramm is under this one. Saints play on again.

The Cherry and White send the ball left but the last pass to Thorley heads into touch and Saints have the lineout on their own 22 now.

Saints steal the lineout and Braley clears. Thorley is back there and Gloucester play on again.

Gloucester get the ball away from the maul and send it wide to May. He's hit hard by Ramm and Collins knocks on the loose ball into touch. Lineout Gloucester.

Grayson sends the conversion wide but Saints take the restart and Grayson boots the ball downfield. Gloucester push back up to  halfway and earn a penalty there as Saints are found offside. Carreras puts it into the corner.

E Waller and Salakaia-Loto replaces A Waller and Ribbans as we restart.

Gloucester try to come forwards off the scrum but Saints' defence holds firm and hold them on the hallway line.

Loose ball on the restart and Hutchinson dives on it but we come back for a knock on from Saints win the build up and Gloucester will have the scrum on Saints' ten metre line.

Collins finds Graham off the restart who goes forwards, before the ball comes out to Ramm. He finds a huge 50-22 and Saints have the lineout in Gloucester's 22 now.

Coles is up for the lineout and Saints play on on the five metre line now.

No conversion again from Carreras and Meehan boots the restart clear. Ramm is there he pushes through Gloucester's line before Saints come wide the other way and get into Gloucester's 22. There they earn a penalty and Grayson puts it into the corner.

Saints defend hard on halfway as Gloucester run the cleared restart back Saints' way. Meehan puts the ball onto his boot and Ramm gets under the high ball again. Grayson boots it downfield and Gloucester play on on the hallway line.

Gloucester send the ball to Ramm of the line and the fullback slices through Gloucester's line. Saints are up to the 22 and pushing.

Saints come forwards from the restart as Gloucester return it to the home side. And Grayson spots a gap, putting the ball on his boot to find touch. Lineout Gloucester in their own 22. 

One change for Saints at the break with Petch taking Painter's place.

No try says the TMO and we come back for the penalty. Carreras puts it into the corner. 

Gloucester think they've scored through Tuisue but we're with the TMO to see if he's grounded it.

May is under the restart and Gloucester play on. There's an advantage coming for Gloucester as Saints fail to roll away and we come back for it when Gloucester knock the ball forwards out wide. Carreras puts it into the corner.

Scrappy at the lineout from Gloucester but they manage to keep it. Saints' defence is relentless though and Graham manages to hold the ball up over the try line. Goal line drop out Saints.

Another penalty for Gloucester as Saints fail to roll away and Carreras puts this on into the corner.

Advantage coming for Gloucester as Saints go off their feet at the ruck and eventually get come back for it. Gloucester tap and go on Saints' five metre line now.

Thorley breaks through off the back of the lineout and makes it up to Saints' 22. But their Saints' defence gets the turn over and Braley clears well. Lineout Gloucester on Saints' 22.

Smith breaks through Gloucester's line off the back of the lineout but the Cherry and Whites managed to turn the ball over. Meehan clears and Collins is there again but he's isolated and Gloucester get the penalty this time. Carreras puts the ball into touch. Lineout Gloucester just inside Saints' half. 

Meehan clears from the back of the maul and Collin is under it. But he's taken in the air by May and Grayson puts the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Grayson spots a gap in behind Gloucester's line and chips the ball through, finding touch in the 22. Lineout Gloucester there.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards at pace. Graham finds Ramm in space and he breaks free. But the fullback's offload to Coles doesn't quite go to hand and Gloucester will have the scrum in their own 22. 

Ramm boots it downfield for Collins to chase but Meehan gets there first and clears. Lineout Saints.

Saints get back over the halfway line quickly on the restart and Braley sends the box kick up there. Meehan gets under it but he's swallowed up by Saints' defence quickly. Meehan sends the box kick up himself after a few more phases and Ramm is there. 

Another penalty for Saints as Gloucester kill the ball again at the breakdown. Saints take this one quickly and are within inches quickly.

Grayson's kick is carried wide by the swirling wind here and though Collins getting up for the restart, the ball comes forwards off him. Scrum Gloucester.

No conversion from Carreras and Saints get the penalty on the restart as Collins' chasing run is blocked. Grayson points to the posts.

Gloucester maul forwards and earn the advantage there too before they come out. But eventually we come back for the penalty at the maul and Carreras puts it into the corner this time.

Hutchinson and Dingwall come forwards off the lineout and Saints work up to the Gloucester 22 now.

Carreras comes forwards but Coles gets over the ball as Clarke tries to carry into Saints' 22. Grayson puts it into touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Meehan sends the ball high after Saints return the kick-off Gloucester's way but Saints can't gather the high ball and Gloucester have the first scrum.
