Northampton Saints vs Stade Rochelais

Hastoy puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Saints whip the ball wide right off the lineout but the TMO intervenes as the clock runs dead for a possible high hit against Saints. 

Stade knock the high ball on on the restart and Saints gather. They earn a penalty at the breakdown too and Furbank sends the ball into touch for a lineout inside Stade's half. 

Solid at this scrum but the ball comes loose and James dots it down over the try line. Goal line drop Saints. 

Not straight at the lineout from Stade and Saints have this scrum. 

Penalty Stade at the scrum and Hastoy puts it into the corner. 

Stade whip the ball wide off the scrum but Saints' defence is there. Hastoy tries to chip over the top but his kick is charged down, Saints can't quite gather the loose ball there though and Stade have the scrum. 

Salakaia-Loto is up for the lineout and Saints push forwards in the midfield. But there's a knock on as the ball comes wide left and Stade will have the scrum. 

Saints are pushed back from the lineout but there's a tussle off the ball and the penalty goes Saints' way. Furbank puts the ball into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Sleightholme gets over the ball on the restart and the penalty goes Saints' way this time. Furbank puts the ball into touch for a lineout. 

No conversion from Hastoy out wide and Furbank restarts play. Stade get to the short ball first. Sleightholme counters over the ball as it comes wide but the penalty goes Stade's way at the next breakdown. Hastoy puts it into the corner. 

Stade come forwards off the lineout but the ball makes contact with the referee and we restart with a scrum. 

Saints take the restart and push forwards but Stade get over the ball and earn the penalty. Hastoy misses touch though and Ramm's kick heads off the pitch in return. Lineout Stade on halfway. 

Waller and F Smith are replaced by Hobbs-Awoyemi and Ramm as we restart.

No conversion out wide from Hastoy and Saints restart. 

Saints come forwards but Stade dive on loose ball at the breakdown and push forwards. Hastoy puts it on his boot and though Furbank is back there, he's pushed into touch. Lineout Stade in Saints' 22. 

The ball comes loose for Saints off the back of the lineout, Dulin gathers and boots to touch. Lineout saints on their own 22 now.

Dulin sends the ball to touch on the restart and Saints have the lineout on halfway. 

Scott-Young replaces Hinkley as we set the lineout. 

Penalty coming for Stade as Saints are found offside. Dulin puts it into the corner. 

James boxes high off the lineout and Thomas is under it. Stade play on just outside Saints' 22.

Stade maul forwards before Lespiaucq Brettes goes alone, he finds Dulin but Sleightholme pushes the Stade fullback into touch. Lineout Saints on their own five metre line. 

Salakaia-Loto is up for the restart and James boxes clear. Stade return it and Saints come back at them on the hallway line but there's a penalty against them at the breakdown there. Hastoy send the ball into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Scrappy at the scrum but Stade manage to keep it. Dulin clears and Freeman keeps the ball in. Saints play on.

Haywood and James replace R Smith and Braley as we set the scrum. 

But Stade hold Saints' maul there and earn the put in at the scrum. 

F Smith sends the ball into the corner for a lineout there.

Freeman charges through on the restart and makes it up to the 22 before he's taken. 

Penalty Stade at the scrum and Hastoy puts it into the corner. 

Hastoy puts the ball on his boot and Saints come back at them. Sleightholme charges forwards into Stade's half and offloads to Ludlam. But there's a knock on in contact there and Stade have the scrum. 

Sleightholme takes the restart and Braley boxes clear. Stade just manage to keep the ball and whip it wide left to push into Saints' half. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum and F Smith points to the posts. 

Sleightholme replaces Skosan as we set the scrum. 

Saints peel forwards off the lineout but there's a knock on from Stade in contact there. Scrum Saints.

Coles is up to gather the goal line drop and he boots it downfield. Bottia runs it back at Saints but the ball comes loose there and Saints play on. They whip the ball right before Furbank sends a lovely 50-22 kick through. Lineout Saints in Stade's 22. 

Stade get over the try line but they're held up by Saints there and Saints have the goal line drop out. 

Thomas breaks through as Saints send the ball back Stade's way and gets play up to Saints' 22. Saints defend there but Stade keep pushing. 

One change for Saints at the break, Petch replaces Painter as we restart. 

Hastoy restarts things here after the break. 

Time's up as we set the lineout and Stade come wide right quickly to get up to Saints' five metre line now.

Free kick at the scrum for Saints and Braley taps it quickly. Saints push forwards into Stade's 22 before Furbank puts the ball on his boot. Stade manage to keep it in and send it back Saints' way. Saints push up to halfway but there's a knock to the head for one of Stade's players and we halt the game while he's seen to. 

Solid maul defence from Saints and Stade are forced to get the ball out. It comes wide to Dulin before heading back inside and there it's lost forwards from Stade hands. Scrum Saints. 

Ludlam charges forwards off the lineout but Saints are penalised at the breakdown again and Hastoy puts the penalty into touch. Lineout Stade. 

Braley finds Dingwall off the scrum and the centre pushes forwards. Saints earn a penalty there too as Stade fail to release and F Smith puts it into touch. Lineout Saints on halfway. 

Good pressure from Saints at the lineout and they force the error from Stade. Scrum Saints. 

The ball comes loose and R Smith dives on it. Furbank puts a chip in but Rhule keeps it in play and sends it back to the full back. Saints come forwards but Stade get over the ball and earn the penalty. Hastoy puts it into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Free kick for Saints at the lineout as Stade close the gap and Smith boots it downfield. Stade get there first and play on on halfway. 

Solid at this scrum and Stade are forced to use it. Hastoy sends a grubber through and Freeman dives on it. Braley boxes clears and Stade will have the lineout on Saints' 22. 

Change for Saints as we set the lineout, Lawes is replaced by Coles. 

Crossfield kick from Stade on the restart sees Leyds push down the right before it comes back the other way. Kerr Barlow puts the ball on his boot and Skosan is there, but the ball is ripped off the Saints winger in a tackle and heads into touch off Stade hands. Lineout Saints inside their own half. 

Saints defend hard off the lineout and work hard to turn the ball over. But they're penalised at the next breakdown and Hastoy puts the ball into the corner. 

Penalty Stade at the scum as it collapses and Hastoy puts it into touch for a lineout inside Saints' half. 

Saints push forwards from the lineout, making their way up to Stade's five metre line but there's a knock on on the ground there and Stade will have the scrum there.

Braley clears from the lineout and Saints pressure hard in defence. A huge hit from Hinkley earns Saints the chance to get over the ball at the breakdown and Smith puts the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Stade come forwards and Kerr Barlow puts a chip through to touch. Lineout Saints just outside their own 22.

Penalty coming for Stade from the scrum and eventually we come back for it. Hastoy puts this one into touch for a lineout on halfway.

Saints attack hard off the lineout but just lose the ball in contact on the floor and Stade will have the scrum. 

Saints pressure well to keep Stade penned back in their own 22 and Kerr Barlow sends it to touch. Lineout Saints on Stade's 22 now.

Saints shove forwards into Stade's half off the lineout before Braley sends it high. Saints defend well as it comes down but the penalty at the breakdown goes Stade's way this time. Hastoy goes for touch but Freeman keeps it in. He boots it downfield and Saints play on.

Stade come wide left as they work into Saints' half but Rhule's hack through heads straight out and Saints have the lineout.

Braley boxes high from the restart and Dulin is there. Trade play on on the hallway line now.

Penalty coming for Saints as they work into Stade's 22 and eventually we come back for it. Smith points to the posts with this one.

Saints push back up to halfway from the restart and earn a penalty at the breakdown again too. Smith puts this one into touch for a lineout on Stade's 22. 

Just wide from Smith with the long-range kick and Stade have the 22 drop out.

Stade try to come wide quickly off the lineout but Saints' defence holds firm. And eventually the rewards come in the form of a penalty at the breakdown. Smith points to the posts.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints come round the corner but Skosan gets isolated as he goes alone and Hastoy puts it into touch. Lineout Stade.

After a reset, Saints manage to get the ball away cleanly and Braley boxes high. Dulin is there but he knocks the ball on and Saints gather. And Stade are penalised at next breakdown for not releasing. Smith puts the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Lawes is up to disrupt the lineout and Stade knock the ball on there. Scrum Saints on their own 22. 

Saints push forwards before Smith puts a chip in for Freeman to chase. His opposite man is there first though and Stade earn a penalty at the breakdown. Hastoy puts it in the corner. 

Short at the kick-off from Saints but Stade manage to gather and they return it Saints' way. The men in Black, Green and Gold play on at the halfway line.
