The prop isn’t expecting the transition from pre-season training to playing to be an easy one, but is raring to go nonetheless.
“I’m chomping at the bit to get back out there and dust off some of the cobwebs,” Corbisiero told SaintsTV at yesterday’s media day. “You need to get those miles under your belt to get back up to game speed and at the same time the challenge of Leinster or Moseley is really going to help with that.
“It’s going to be a shock to the system – it always is – and you’ve got to be prepared to deal with that. Rugby is all about how you perform when you are tired though, so we’re looking forward to getting out there and hopefully building on some performances.”
Tickets for the double header of matches – the first of which kicks off at 2:30pm – are available now, along with the opening game of the Saints’ Aviva Premiership title defence against Gloucester on Friday, September 5th.
