Saints put an end to a five-game losing streak last night as they secured a 41-7 win over Dragons in the second round of the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

Among the try-scorers and awarded Man of the Match, Cobus Reinach said that the win has come at a good time for the team as they head back into the Aviva Premiership, starting with two difficult weekends on the road.

"It was a good performance for the team and we definitely needed it," Reinach told SaintsTV live on Facebook after the game.

"We'll walk away and start a new week with a lot of confidence.

"We've had a tough month and a bit. It's definitely a great win and a great time for the win.

"It will turn everything around and give us a new set of focusses, a new confidence, a new everything as we go into this week and look to get back into the top of the Premiership."

After two crucial weekends on the road at first Worcester and then Sale, Saints will be back home to host Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership on 1 December.
