Over 2,400 masks were sold in 24 hours when the masks became available last week, with all profits being split equally between the NHS and Northampton Saints Foundation.
The Black, Green and Gold masks – which also display a Saints crest across the front – are CE certified barrier masks and are made of two-ply interlock polyester. They are machine washable at 60 degrees, making them fully reusable, and are designed to complement protective measures and social distancing rules.
Northampton Saints facemasks do NOT provide medical-grade protection; the Club is not taking any supplies of personal protection equipment away from front-line key workers.
