London Irish vs Northampton Saints

Saints whip it wide but the last pass heads into touch and Irish have the lineout.

Penalty Saints at the breakdown and Hutchinson sends it to touch for a lineout on halfway.

The ball comes loose at the lineout and Powell boots it downfield with a 50-22 touch finder. Lineout Irish in Saints' 22. 

Litchfield is on for Dingwall as we restart.

Hutchinson can't add the conversion but Salakaia-Loto is up for the restart. There's a penalty there for Saints too as he's tackled in the air. Hutchinson puts it into touch for a lineout inside Irish's half. 

Penalty Saints at the breakdown as Irish fail to roll away and Saints take the tap and go.

Ludlam is up for the lineout and Saints push forwards through Freeman. They're up to the five metre line now and still pushing.

Ludlam is over the ball on the restart and Saints have the penalty. Hutchinson puts it into the corner.

Saints go short at the restart but Irish just manage to get there first. They play on on Saints' 22.

Graham and James replace Augustus and Mitchell as we restart. 

Saints make slow progress and Chawatama dives on loose ball at the breakdown. Irish come fowards and think they've scored through Arundell but after a trip to the TMO his effort is chalked off for a knock on as he grounds the ball. Goal line drop out to Saints to restart.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints white the ball wide quickly to get over the hallway line. 

Irish get up and steal the lineout before clearing downfield. Lineout Saints just inside their own half. 

Powell sends the box kick up from the restart and finds touch. Lineout Saints back near halfway. 

Irish maul forwards and though Saints get on the ball, the home side keep pushing.

Advantage coming for Irish as Saints fail to roll away and we come back for it eventually. Jackson sends the ball into touch for a lineout in Saints' 22. 

Mitchell sends the box kick up and Arundell is there. Irish play on the halfway line now.

Ribbans steals the lineout and Saints play on.

E Waller and Scott-Young replace A Waller and Moon as we restart.

Irish's crossfield finds Collins and he charges forwards. Saints are up to halfway now.

Advantage coming for Irish from the maul and they play on on hallway. Loader charges forwards as it comes wide but he offload to Powell is knocked on. Scrum Saints in their own 22. 

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Mitchell clears. Irish return it Saints' way and Ramm sends it long into touch. Lineout Irish back in their own half. 

Hassell-Collins clears from the lineout and Saints have the lineout this time.

Penalty Saints as Irish are found offside at the lineout and Saints take it quickly. They work up to Irish's 22 before Hutchinson hacks through into space. Lineout Irish in their own 22. 

Saints make it up to Irish's 22 but they're penalised at the breakdown there and Jackson puts it into touch. Lineout Irish on halfway.

Salakaia-Loto is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards quickly. They're in to Irish's half now and pushing.

Penalty Saints at the scrum as it comes down before the ball is in and Hutchinson clears to touch. Lineout Saints back near halfway. 

HIA for F Smith after a big hit and Collins takes his place. 

Good pressure from Saints off the back of the scrum and Irish knock the ball on in contact. Scrum Saints this time.

The ball hits the referee off the lineout though and we'll restart with an Irish scrum. 

Saints get over the ball at the breakdown but Irish get the penalty as the referee deems Salakaia-Loto to have gone off his feet. Jackson puts the resulting penalty into the corner.  

Saints make good progress but Irish are rewarded at the breakdown with a penalty. Jackson finds touch for a lineout on halfway again.

Saints come forwards as Irish return them the restart. Smith sends it back Irish's way but Loader's clearing kick heads straight out. Lineout Saints just outside Irish's 22. 

Mitchell sends the ball up and Irish return. Furbank is back to gather and he clears to touch. Lineout Irish on halfway.

O'Sullivan box kicks high off the restart and Ramm is under it. Saints play on on the halfway line. 

Smith gets us restarted here at the Gtech.

Saints get over the ball as Irish come forwards but they're penalised for not rolling there. Jackson points to the posts.

Knock on Irish on the restart and Saints play on with the advantage before Mitchell puts it on his boot. Irish gather but their crossfield kick finds Furbank. He comes forwards but there's a knock on in contact just after. Scrum Irish. 

Irish try to maul forwards but they're held up over the try line. Goal line drop out Saints.

Jackson puts the resulting penalty into the corner.

There's a knock on from Saints off the lineout and we take a trip to the TMO to see if it's deliberate.

Mitchell clears the restart and finds touch. Lineout Irish on halfway. 

Davison is replaced by Hill as we restart. 

Ribbans is up for the lineup and Saints maul forwards before bringing the ball out. Mitchell darts forwards to get play up to the five metre and Saints earn a penalty there as Irish go off their feet. F Smith puts it back into the corner.

Good defensive set from Saints and they get the rewards in the form of a penalty. F Smith puts it into the corner for a Saints lineout there.

Saints dive on loose ball there though and Furbank clears to touch. Lineout Irish back on halfway. 

Saints get another good shove on but Irish keep possession and play in Saints' 22 now.

Irish come back into Saints' 22 quickly, Saints turn the ball over but it's lost forwards as it's stripped and Irish have the scrum.

Cruse replaces R Smith as we restart.

Irish push into Saints' 22 but lose the ball there and Mitchell clears long. Irish try to run it back at Saints but Hassell-Collins' chip heads over the try line and Hutchinson dots it down. Goal line drop out Saints.

Good shove at the scrum from Saints but Irish manage to get the ball away. They push up to halfway but Saints' defence holds them there.

Ramm gets up for the restart but his tap down just goes forwards. Scrum Irish.

Irish come out in the the midfield quickly but are met with Saints' defence there. The home side keep pushing.

Scrappy at the scrum but the penalty goes Irish's way. Jackson puts the ball into the corner.

Saints maul forwards but Irish manage to get to the ball and earn the put in at this scrum. 

Saints and Irish exchange kicks again, with Loader eventually finding touch. Lineout Saints on halfway.

Free kick Saints at the scrum as Irish push early at the scrum and F Smith sends the ball downfield. Loader is there and he runs it back at Saints but Ludlam is there in defence. O'Sullivan sends the ball high and Saints play on.

F Smith and Furbank push up after Loader returns the restart Saints' way. Freeman breaks down the left and there's an advantage coming for Saints too as Irish fail to roll away. F Smith points to the posts.

Irish push up to the five metre line and there's an advantage coming for Irish as they continue to push. 

More kicks exchanged before Davison carries into contact. But Saints are penalised for going off their feet at the breakdown there and Jackson puts the penalty into the corner.

Jennings gathers the restart for Irish and they play on on the hallway line again. 

Jackson sends the kick wide though and Saints have the 22 drop out.

Irish and Saints exchange kicks before Ramm takes the ball forwards into contact but Irish get over the ball there for the penalty. Jackson puts it into touch for a lineout in Saints' half. 

Augustus pushes up from the kick-off and Saints come forwards before Mitchell sends it high. Loader is there and Irish play on on halfway.
