Northampton Saints vs Wasps

Wasps somehow get the ball back at the restart but Iyogun gets over the ball and earns Saints the penalty. Grayson points to the posts again.

Grayson sends the kick wide of the left post and we have just enough time for the 22 drop out to restart. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum!! It's a huge shove and Grayson points to the posts.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards before James sends high. Odogwu is under it but knocks the high ball on. Scrum Saints. 

Umaga clears off the restart and Grayson sends it high himself. The Wasps fly-half marks it before sends it to touch for a Saints lineout inside their own half. 

Iyogun turns the ball over as Wasps come forwards from the restart. James sends the ball high and Wasps gather. 

Haywood, Carey, James and Francis all enter play as we restart with Matavesi, Hill, Mitchell and Dingwall all making way. 

No conversion from Grayson out wide and Umaga restarts things.

Porter breaks through again but he's taken down by Mitchell this time. Saints turn the ball over at the breakdown though and Mitchell sends it high again.

Scrappy at the restart and this time Saints gather. Mitchell sends the ball downfield and Wasps play on.

Saints are over the whitewash again through Furbank but this one is chalked off by the TMO again. There's an advantage being play to Saints though and we come back to it. Grayson points to the posts.

Sleightholme races through Wasps' line and into the 22 now. The ball comes wide to Grayson and still Saints push. 

Hutchinson finds Skosan out wide who races down the right but his offload back inside finds Wasps hands and Porter sends the ball high off the back of the ruck. Grayson is under it and Saints play on again.

Hutchinson is under the high ball and Saints play on now.

Nansen replaces Ratuniyarawa as we set for the drop out.

Overthrown lineout to Dingwall from Saints and Grayson sends the ball downfield. Umaga dots it down over the try line and Wasps will have the goal line drop out. 

No conversion from Gopperth out wide though and Atkinson finds touch from the restart for a Saints lineout back near halfway. 

Scrappy at the scrum but Saints keep hold of the ball. Mitchell sends the ball high and Umaga is back for it. He sends it high too and manages to get under his own chip Wasps play on.

Sleightholme replaces Collins as we set the scrum. 

Wasps steal the lineout but knock the ball on as they work into Saints' half. Scrum Saints.

Penalty Saints at the scrum here too and Grayson finds touch with the ball for a lineout just inside Wasps' half. 

Wasps push up to Saints' 22 but there they knock the ball on and Saints will have the scrum. 

Iyogun replaces Waller as we restart. 

Mitchell gets over the whitewash in what would be a brilliant try for Saints but the TMO chalks it off as there's a push off the ball in the build up. Umaga sends the resulting penalty to touch for a Wasps lineout on halfway. 

Augustus takes the drop out and barges his way forwards. Saints keep pushing now.

Saints work hard but Mitchell is held up over the try line as he reaches it. Goal line drop out for Wasps. 

Furbank finds Collins and the winger races through again. He finds Mitchell and Saints work up to the Wasps' five mere line. Still they push now. 

Collins breaks through to feed Ribbans and Saints are back pushing on Wasps' 22 again now.

Willis scoops the ball up at the back of the scrum and Saints' hold firm in defence. Robson sends the ball high and Skosan is under it. Saints play on.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards but when it comes down, the scrum goes Wasps' way.

Penalty Saints at the scrum! Grayson sends the ball to touch for a lineout inside Wasps' 22. 

Tonks replaces Harrison as we restart.

Scrappy at the restart and it's deemed to have come off Saints hands. Scrum Wasps.

Collins worms his way up to the five metre line before Ratuniyarawa gets things closer. Still Saints push.

Saints work their way up to Wasps' 22 and have another advantage coming as they keep pushing now.

Grayson sends the ball high and Umaga is back for it. He sends it back downfield and Saints come forwards with the advantage now as Wasps are found offside. 

Scrappy off the back of the lineout but Wasps manage to keep possession. Robson sends it high and Collins is under it. 

Saints turn the ball over off the lineout and Hutchinson races forwards. He makes it up to halfway before he's taken down and still Saints push. But as Augustus tiptoes down the left wing, he's pushed into touch. Lineout Wasps just outside their own 22. 

Gopperth puts the ball on his boot off the back of the scrum and Collins just takes it into touch as he gathers it. Lineout Wasps in Saints' 22. 

Mitchell boxes high off the back of the ruck and Ribbans hits hard as Umaga comes down with the ball. Wasps keep possession but Robson boxes high himself and Collins is under it. But as Saints come back inside, they ball goes forwards and Wasps will have the scrum.

Wasps manage to re-gather the scrappy restart but good Saints defence pushes them back and when the ball comes loose, it's Waller who dives on it. Saints play on.

Umaga gets us restarted here at cinch Stadium at Franklin's Gardens! 

Robson plays patient phases with his forwards as we enter the final minute of the first half. 

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints maul but they're held and the scrum will go Wasps' way.

Mitchell sends the ball high himself and Wasps return. Furbank is back for it and he chips high, chasing himself. The ball comes down in Wasps hands though and they push back up to halfway. Saints get over the ball there though and Grayson puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout in Wasps' 22. 

Good defence at the lineout forces Wasps to use the ball quickly and Saints keep defending hard as Wasps push over the halfway line. Robson sends the ball high and Skosan is under it. 

Augustus gathers the high ball and Saints push into Wasps' half before Grayson sends a grubber through to touch. Lineout Wasps in their own 22 now.

Hutchinson sends a grubber through again but Umaga dots this one down over the Wasps try line. Goal line drop out for Saints.

Ratuniyarawa is up for the lineout and Mitchell gets play into Wasps' 22 quickly. Hutchinson chips over the top for Collins to chase but Odogwu just gets there first. Robson boxes high again and Grayson takes the lineout quickly. 

Gopperth looks to clear off the back of the scrum but his kick heads straight out. Lineout Saints just outside Wasps' 22 now.

Solid at the scrum and Saints pressure hard as Robson whips the ball away. The ball comes loose but it's deemed to have come off Saints hands. Scrum Wasps again.

Ribbans gets up to collect the restart and Mitchell sends the ball high off the back of the ruck. Watson is under the ball but he's turned over and Saints play on. Hutchinson chips over the top but his kick bobbles dead. Scrum Wasps back near halfway.

Saints maul forwards from the lineout before getting the ball quickly into the midfield. They're up to the five metre line now and still they push.

Penalty Wasps at the lineout though and Umaga puts the ball into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Saints work over the whitewash and though they're held up over the line, there's an advantage coming. Grayson puts it into the corner. 

Robson clears off the back of the lineout and Skosan works hard to keep the ball in play. He finds Furbank and the fullback charges forwards. Saints push into Wasps' 22 and keep coming.

Saints whip the ball wide quickly, with Furbank putting boot to ball for Skosan to chase. But the ball just beats the winger to touch and Wasps will have the lineout inside their own 22. 

Penalty Saints at the breakdown just off the back of the scrum and Grayson sends the ball into touch for a lineout just outside Wasps' 22. 

Wasps whip the ball wide quickly off the lineout and solid Saints defence forces the error from their guests in the form of a knock on. Scrum Saints.

Saints push into Wasps' 22 but are penalised at the breakdown. Umaga puts the resulting penalty to touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Furbank boots the ball downfield and Bassett tries to return but his kick heads straight out. Lineout Saints just outside Wasps' 22.

Clear forward pass says the TMO and we come back for the scrum ten metres into Saints' half. 

Odogwu breaks free and Wasps think they've scored but we're with the TMO to check a possible forward pass in the build up.

Wasps steal the lineout and play on but an immense defensive effort holds them back. Wasps keep pushing at Saints' line though.

Saints come forwards but are penalised. Robson takes it quickly and Gopperth hacks through. Grayson is back to dot it down over the try line and he's hit late to see Saints with the penalty there too. Grayson sends it touch for a lineout.

Furbank takes the restart and Mitchell clears high. Watson is under it and makes it up to the halfway line. A huge hit from Ribbans pushes Wasps back into their own half and Robson sends it high again. Skosan is under it and Saints play on.

Robson sends it high off the restart again but find Furbank this time. Saints push back into Wasps' half and the ball comes wide to Augustus before back inside to Ribbans, with the centurion getting play into the 22. 

Ratuniyarawa disrupts well at the lineout but Wasps manage to keep possession. They push into Saints' 22 and though Saints get over the ball, they're penalised at the breakdown. Gopperth points to the posts.

Wasps get up to disrupt the lineout and the ball comes back on their side, Robson chips over the top but the ball rolls dead and Saints will have the scrum back on halfway. 

Robson sends the ball high off the ruck again off the restart and Saints will have a lineout on halfway again.

Solid at the scrum from Saints and Robson is forces to use it. Wasps whip the ball left to right and inch into Saints' half but Saints' defence holds firm. 

Scrappy off the lineout for Saints though and Mitchell can't quite control the ball as it comes to him. Scrum Wasps. 

Wasps gather the kick-off and build a couple of phases before Robson box kicks high into touch. Lineout Saints on halfway.
