Saints team for Saracens Champions Cup opener

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

The Northampton Saints team has been named for the opening European Champions Cup clash with reigning champions Saracens.

There are just three changes to the starting line-up from last weekend's Aviva Premiership clash with Gloucester, with Stephen Myler and Ben Foden beginning the game at fly-half and on the wing respectively with Aviva Premiership Player of the Month for September, Courtney Lawes, coming into the starting 15 also.

Nic Groom also returns to the match day 23, starting the game on the bench, alongside Tom Wood, who is set to make his 150th appearance in a Saints shirt from amongst the replacements.

Not available for selection: Mitch Eadie (ankle), Rob Horne (calf), Lewis Ludlam (illness)

Sunday's game is being shown on BT Sport 1 but tickets are still available to purchase HERE. Supporters who cannot make the game can also follow the action with the minute-by-minute text commentary at www.saintslive.co.uk
