Need a way to reward your pupils for positive behaviour, high standards of work, school team successes, most house points, or attendance?
Throughout the day pupils have the opportunity to take part in various activities at the Saints. Name badges are created on the computers, origami rugby kits are carefully folded and customised, the Northampton Saints Rugby Stadium, Franklin's Gardens is explored and a tag-rugby session takes place with Saints community rugby coaches.
The transition programme is designed to aid transition from primary to secondary school. Pupils take part in numerous team games and group challenges to help year six pupils transferring to secondary school. Working together in small groups to enhance their literacy, numeracy and ICT skills also develops their self-esteem and team work skills.
This experience away from school gives pupils the opportunity to develop independent learning and thinking skills, improve study skills and to support key learning skills in numeracy and ICT.
