Northampton Saints vs Leicester Tigers

Time's up as we set the scrum but there's a penalty for Tigers there and Pollard puts the ball into touch for a lineout in Saints' half as Hendy returns to the field.

Augustus breaks through Tigers' line on the restart and he chips for Coles to chase. But the back rower knocks the ball on as it tries to gather it and Tigers have the scrum.

Saints turn the ball over and push into Tigers' 22 quickly. 

Tigers whip the ball wide to Hassell-Collins but there's a knock on as the come back into the midfield. Saints scoop up the loose ball and boot is clear. Tigers play on on halfway now.

No conversion from Furbank out wide but Saints gather the restart and James hacks it clear. But Saints are penalised at the breakdown and Pollard sends the ball into touch for a lineout in Saints' half. 

Graham and James enter play as we restart, with Ludlam and Mitchell making way. 

Ludlam breaks through to get into Tigers' half and Freeman breaks free again. But the F Smith's hack through heads over the dead ball line and Tigers have the 22 drop out. 

Moon rises highest for the restart and Mitchell sends the box kick high. Brown is there but Ramm hits him hard and Youngs is forced to clear. Saints play on on the halfway line. 

Youngs hacks through for Kelly to chase but Mitchell gets to it first and Saints play on again.

Mitchell sends the box kick high and Brown is back to take it. Youngs sends a kick up of his own and Ramm is under it. Saints play on before Smith sends the ball downfield. Pollard is there and Tigers play on themselves. 

Penalty coming for Saints as Tigers collapse the maul. F Smith puts the ball into the corner for another lineout.

F Smith replaces Seabrook as we set the lineout. 

Tigers take Saints out in the air and Furbank puts the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Furbank send the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout on Tigers' 22. 

Lockett replaces Mayanavanua as we restart. 

There's a high hit on Dingwall off the lineout and we're with the TMO to review it. 

Waller, Langdon and Millar Mills make way as we set the lineout, with Haffar, R Smith and Davison entering play. 

Pollard's clearing kick heads straight out though and Saints will have the lineout back on halfway. 

Solid at the scrum and Tigers get the ball away before Van Poortvliet send it high. The manage to regather and play on on the halfway line. 

Saints get up for the ball on the restart but the ball goes forwards. Scrum Tigers on their own 22. 

Freeman replaces Litchfield as we restart. 

Saints' defence pushes Tigers back outside the 22 but the away side push back and there's a penalty coming for them as Saints fail to roll away. Pollard puts it into the corner. 

Overthrown at the lineout from Saints and Tigers hack forwards. Saints are penalised for holding on when they gather it and Pollard puts the resulting penalty into the corner for a Tigers lineout there. 

Penalty coming at the scrum for Saints and we come back to it when their attack makes little ground. Furbank sends the ball into touch for a lineout back in Tigers' half. 

Big shove at the scrum from Saints but Tigers manage to keep the ball. The come wide right and work up to Saints' 22 but the home side defend hard and their reward comes in the form of a knock on. Scrum Saints. 

Free kick Saints at the scrum and they take it quickly. Furbank hacks through for Seabrook to chase but the ball heads over the deadfall line. Scrum Tigers back near halfway. 

Hassell-Collins knocks the high ball on on the restart and Saints will have the scrum. 

Dingwall breaks through Tigers' line and Saints are up into Tigers' 22 now. 

Furbank's conversion is just shy of the uprights but Coles rises highest on the restart to take the high ball. Mitchell sends the box kick up and Tigers play on before Van Poortvliet sends it high. Ramm is there to take it and Saints play on.

Furbank gets us restarted here at the Gardens. 

Millar Mills turns the ball over there though and Saints come forwards. There's a penalty and Furbank puts the ball into touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Van Poortvliet breaks through off the lineout and gets into Saints' 22. Tigers keep pushing there and make it up to Saints' five metre line now. 

Saints maul from the lineout and get close but the ball comes lose as Saints push forwards off the back of it and Steward boots the ball downfield. Hendy gets back to gather it and send it into touch. Lineout Tigers. 

Mayanavanua is up for the lineout but Hassell-Collins intercepts a stray pass off the back of it. Saints switch to defence well and Van Poortvliet returns the ball Saints' way. Dingwall and Ludlam charge down the left to get into to Tigers' half again. 

Dingwall comes forwards on the restart but Tigers are offside again and Furbank sends the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout back in Tigers' half. 

Mitchell and Litchfield break through to get play into Tigers' half and there's a penalty coming for Saints there as Tigers are found offside. Eventually we come back for it and Furbank points to the posts. 

Saints disrupt well at Tigers' maul and forces Van Poortvliet to use the ball. Pollard hacks through and Ramm is there. Saints play on with the ball. 

Hendy, Langdon and Ludlam charge forwards for Saints on the restart, getting play back up to the 22. But Tigers get over the ball there to earn the penalty and Pollard puts the ball into touch for a lineout back inside Saints' half. 

No try says the TMO, deeming Mitchell to have been held up over the tryline. Goal line drop out for Tigers to restart. 

Saints think they've scored through Mitchell but we head to the TMO to see if he's grounded the ball. 

Another penalty for Saints as Tigers are found offside. Saints tap it quickly again. 

Litchfield and Augustus come forwards to get Saint up to the five metre line. There's illegal hands in the ruck from Tigers there and Saints tap it quickly. 

Mitchell sends the ball high again and Seabrook chases hard. Penalty Saints as Tigers seal off the ball as it comes down and Furbank puts the ball into the corner for a lineout there. 

Saints push up to the halfway line from the scrum, Furbank sends the ball up and Tigers return. Furbank is there and he calls the mark before sending the ball long downfield. Tigers return it and Saints play on again. 

Solid defence from Saints off the lineout and Litchfield forces the knock on in the tackle. Scrum Saints. 

Ludlam is up at the lineout again but Tigers get over the ball at the next phase and earn the penalty there. Pollard puts the ball into touch for a lineout back inside Saints' half. 

Ludlam is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards. They make it out of their 22 before Mitchell sets Seabrook free. Mitchell sends the ball high in the next phase and Tigers return it Saints' way. Mitchell sends the box kick up again and Steward runs it back. But Mayanavanua is over the ball there to earn Saints the penalty. Furbank sends the ball into touch for a lineout just outside Tigers' 22. 

Tigers steal the ball at the lineout and come forwards. They work into Saints' 22, exploiting their extra man, but they pass the ball into touch there. Lineout Saints to restart as Millar Mills returns to the field. 

Van Poortvliet sends the ball high on the restart and Litchfield rises highest to take it. Mitchell sends the box kick up and Steward is under it. Van Poortvliet returns it and Ramm runs the ball forwards. Litchfield and Hendy break down the right wing before Hendy puts the ball on his boot. Steward gets back for it and finds touch. Lineout Saints on Tigers' 22. 

Augustus gets over the ball as Tigers come forwards but he's deemed to be off his feet and Tigers have the penalty there instead. Pollard points to the posts.

Mitchell sends the box kick up from the restart and finds touch. Lineout Tigers.

There's a deliberate knock on from Tigers as Saints come wide and Furbank points to the posts with the resulting penalty. 

Tigers knock the restart on and Langdon pounces on the loose ball. Saints push into Tigers' 22 now. 

Pollard puts the resulting penalty into the corner.

Tigers get up to the five metre line but Seabrook strips the ball in a tackle there and Mitchell boots it clear. Lineout Tigers back near halfway. 

Van Poortvliet sends the ball high off the lineout and Hendy is there. But he loses control of the ball as he lands and Tigers scoop up the loose ball. They play on on Saints' 22 now.

Tigers take the ball at the lineout but Moon turns the ball over at the next phase. Langdon boots the ball down field and Tigers return it Saints' way. Mitchell comes forwards and Saints push up into Tigers' 22 when the ball comes wide to Hendy. But the winger is isolated and Tigers get over the ball for the penalty. Pollard puts it into touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Overthrown at the lineout from Tigers and Langdon just on it. Mitchell sends the box kick up but the wind carries it straight out. Lineout Tigers back on Saints' 22. 

Bigg effort at the scrum and the penalty goes Saints' way. Furbank sends the ball into touch but Steward keeps it in. Mitchell is there to take it but Tigers get over the ball just after to earn the penalty. Pollard puts it into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Scrappy at the lineout but Saints keep it. Tigers counter ruck at the next phase though and earn the put in at the scrum for their efforts.
