Gloucester Rugby vs Northampton Saints

Gloucester come wide off the scrum but Saints are there. Gloucester are within inches now. 

Gloucester have the advantage coming and come wide. Ribbans pushes them back but we come back for the advantage eventually. Gloucester choose the scrum option. 

Gloucester look to maul again but Saints hold them well again. The ball comes out on the five metre and the home side continue to push.

Gloucester look to maul again and make a better effort of it before it slows. Gloucester keep coming forwards and earn a penalty at the ruck. Twelvetrees sends it into the corner. 

The ball comes out this time and Saints work their way back up to the 22. Mitchell boxes from there but his kick finds touch too early and Gloucester have the lineout back at Saints' 22. 

Gloucester look to maul but Saints hold them well and earn the scrum. 

Penalty Gloucester at the ruck and Twelvetrees finds the corner. Lineout Gloucester inside Saints' 22. 

Wood is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards again over the halfway line. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum as Garside puts a huge shift in! Grayson sends it into touch and Saints have the lineout up near halfway.

Kellaway enters play for Burrell as we get set.

Gloucester somehow regain possession and Banahan goes racing down the right but he knocks the ball on and Saints have the scrum on their own 22. 

Garside enters play for Hill as we reset things.

The ball comes loose at the lineout and Saints get a hand to it. Mitchell clears and Gloucester have the lineout up near halfway. 

Loose ball off the lineout and Gloucester are pushed back into their own 22. Braley clears and Collins is there. Gloucester get over the ball though and earn a penalty. Twelvetrees sends it into touch.

Saints make their way all the way up to the five metre but the maul comes down there and Gloucester earn the scrum. 

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards into Gloucester's 22. 

Saints work hard to get over in defence and Gloucester pass the ball straight into touch. Lineout Saints on Gloucester's 22. 

Lineout Saints but Gloucester turn over in the lineout and whip the ball wide. 

Saints look to maul before Mitchell boxes clear. Thorley is there and Mitchell pressure well in defence. Gloucester play on before Braley clears. Mitchell sends the ball high but Collins can't quite get there. The ball comes wide before Gloucester kick the ball straight out. 

Mitchell comes on for Reinach as we set the lineout. 

Scrappy ball ensues though and Gloucester hack the ball through for a Saints lineout on their own 22. 

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Gibson comes barrelling forwards off the base. Wood and Reinach team up to set Furbank free before Fish barges up the middle. Grayson sends the highball up and Gloucester just get there first as the ball lands near the referee. 

Gibson comes on for Harrison as we set the scrum. 

Grayson sends the penalty into touch and Saints have the penalty back near halfway. 

Ratuniyarawa replaces Moon as we get ready to use the penalty. 

Penalty Saints at the breakdown as Waller gets over the ball. 

Gloucester use the ball quickly and look to come forwards. Saints pressure well and push their hosts back but Gloucester keep coming.

The ball comes loose at the ruck as Gloucester make their way into the Saints' 22. Harrison scoops up but is deemed to have knocked on. Scrum Gloucester.

Free kick Gloucester again and they take it quickly.

And Waller replaces Davis as we set the scrum too.

Purdy also comes on for Trinder as we set the scrum. 

Gloucester make changes as Kriel and Heinz take their leave, with Grobler and Braley taking their place. 

Gloucester work their way back over the halfway line before Ackermann breaks through. Saints defence scrambles back though and forces the knock on. Scrum Saints.

Gloucester come forwards and make their way over the halfway line again. Saints pressure well though. 

Harrison scoops from the base again and Saints do well to come forwards. Reinach clears and Thorley takes the lineout quickly. 

Solid from Saints at the scrum and Reinach applies good pressure and forces the knock on. 

Scrappy at the lineout and Gloucester get the scrum. 

Gloucester go for the cross field but the ball finds touch before Thorley's hands. Lineout Saints. 

Gloucester maul forwards but Saints hold them well. Heinz gets the ball out but Saints work hard to push the home side back. 

Penalty Gloucester at the lineout as the maul collapses. Twelvetrees sends it into the corner. 

Walker and Rapava Ruskin enter play for the home team, with Hanson and Hohneck taking their leave. 

Gloucester push forwards from the lineout and make their way upto Saints' 22. They chip through but Reinach collects and clears. Lineout Gloucester on Saint' 22. 

Hill returns from the sin bin, with Collins also returning to the field as Garside takes his leave. 

Ackermann replaces Slater as we set the scrum.

Reinach boxes the restart and Gloucester struggle under the high ball again. They manage to keep possession though and play on. We come back for an advantage being play and Twelvetrees sends the penalty into touch. Lineout Gloucester.

Gloucester struggle under the high ball as Saints return the restart and Saints apply the pressure. Heinz is forced to box clear and Reinach collects and comes forwards.

Harrison scoops from the base again and barrels forwards. The ball comes loose as Burrell and Grayson confuse each other. Grayson sends a kick through but it goes dead. Gloucester play the ball quickly and come forwards after Saints return it. They come forwards but a monster hit from Grayson forces the knock on from Kriel and Saints will have the scrum. 

Another overthrow from Gloucester at the lineout and they knock on just after too. Scrum Saints on halfway. 

Good from Harrison at the scrum as he gets the ball away under pressure. Reinach boxes well. Lineout Gloucester on halfway. 

Garside comes on for the scrum and Collins leaves the field.

The home side do well under pressure from Saints and work their way forwards. Woodward breaks through and makes it up to the five metre before Reinach takes him down. They whip the ball wide to space but Thorley knocks on and Saints will have the scrum. 

Gloucester maul forwards from the lineout before Hohneck makes it over halfway. Scrappy handling pushes the home side back though and Saints push up in defence. Heinz sends it back to Atkinson to clear but Burrell charges the ball down. Gloucester collect and play on from their own 22. 

Overthrow from the home side as they send the resulting penalty into the corner and Harrison barges forwards. Grayson sends a brilliant clearing kick through and Gloucester have the lineout back in their own half. 

Gloucester look to come forwards but Saints' defence holds well. They come wide the other way and gain a few more yards before Banahan breaks through. He's taken but Gloucester earn the penalty.

Gloucester get the ball away quickly but scrappy handling slows things for the home side. Thorley is nearly through but is just scragged by his ankles. Saints apply good pressure but are judged to have knocked on in the tackle and Gloucester have the scrum. 

Heinz boxes from the back of the lineout and Furbank is there. He just knocks on under the highball though and Gloucester have the scrum. 

Better at the scrum but Gloucester come wide but knock on. Grayson scoops up and clears long. Lineout Gloucester back in their own 22. 

Free kick Gloucester at the lineout as Saints are penalised for closing the gap. Gloucester choose the scrum. 

Penalty Gloucester at the scrum as the collapses and Twelvetrees sends the ball into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Haywood - who took a knock in the build up - takes his leave from his 200th appearance and Fish takes his place. 

Grayson chips over the top and Collins is nearly there but he just knocks on. Scrum Gloucester.

Grayson restarts and Gloucester knock on the high ball. Saints play on. 

Gloucester push from the lineout but are forced to box and Grayson is there. Moon forces his way forwards and the passes come wide Reinach is taken and Banahan is away. He's dotted down under the posts but we're with the TMO to check the tackle on Reinach.

Wood is up for the lineout and Saints get the ball away quickly. They push forwards in the midfield before Moon shoves on. Grayson sends a grubber through and Gloucester return it. Grayson collects and it through but his chip forwards finds touch too early and Gloucester have the lineout. 

Gloucester have to whip the ball out quickly as Saints go forwards. They whip things wide but Banahan's clearing kick goes straight out. Lineout Saints inside Gloucester's half. 

Things get a little scrappy and Reinach has to scoop up the loose ball. His offload to Collins finds Gloucester hands though. They clear and Saints return before pushing Woodward into touch. Lineout Saints but it goes array and Gloucester will have the scrum. 

Scrum Saints to restart and Saints push forwards. Naiyaravoro barrels through the middle and Saints are pushing around the five metre.

Burrell replaces Francis who leaves for a HIA.

Ludlam up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards. Reinach eventually whips it out to Francis who comes flying forwards. Saints look to come forwards but with Francis down we pause play.

Ludlam - who's putting in a lot of work - gets over the ball at the ruck and earns Saints the penalty. Grayson sends it to touch. Lineout Saints inside Gloucester's 22.

Ludlam gets up to slow things at the lineout but Gloucester come away with the ball. They who things wide but Saints' defence holds well. Slowly closing in on halfway, Gloucester come back the other way looking for a gap but it doesn't come.

Gloucester get up and steal the lineout before pushing forwards through the midfield. Trinder clears and Furbank is there and clears well. Lineout Gloucester back at halfway. 

Grayson takes the restart and sends the ball skyward. Trinder marks it and launches it into touch. Lineout Saints inside Gloucester's half.

Wood is up for the lineout and Saints push forwards. Hill pushes through the middle and Saints earn the penalty. Grayson points to the posts.
