Northampton Saints vs Harlequins

Saints push forwards in Quins' 22 but the ball comes loose and Quins play on from deep. 

Saints come forwards and Matavesi sends a chip over for Ramm but Quins get there first and call the mark. Edwards clears long but Saints keep it in and play on.

Penalty Saints as Quins fail to roll away off the back of the lineout and Saints choose the scrum again.

Big shove from Saints but Quins manage to get the ball away. Taulani's offload finds touch though and Saints will have the lineout on Quins' 22. 

Saints come forwards from the scrum and work into Quins' 22 but there they're held up and Quins will have the put in at this scrum. 

Edwards can't convert his own score but Quins return the ball Saints' way from the restart and are found offside there too. Saints choose to scrum. 

Overthrow at the lineout from Saints and Quins play on. Chisholm clears downfield but Matavesi is back there. Saints play on before clearing but the ball heads straight out. Lineout Quins just outside Saints' 22. 

Mulhall replaces Scott-Young as we set the lineout.

Garside hoofs the ball clear downfield and though Quins dive on it, their clearing kick heads into touch. Lineout Saints on Quins' 22. 

Saints hold Quins' maul but the away side use the ball and whip it wide. They make it up to the Saints five metre line but there's a turn over there and Saints play on.

Bell turns the ball over for Saints and Garside boxes clear. Quins regather but Saints' defence is up quickly and Quins knock the ball on. Saints come forwards but there's a late hit from Saints as they chip the ball over the top and Edwards puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout.

Quins are back in Saints' 2 but the home side are defending hard. 

Quins charges forwards from the scrum and make it into Saints' 22 but there the away side knock on and Garside clears long. Lineout Quins back outside Saints' 22.

Quins clear from the back of the scrum and Hendy is under it. Saints come forwards but an offload goes forwards and Quins have the scrum again.

Kean breaks free as Saints gather the restart and the home side work up into Quins' 22. But there's a knock on there and Quins will have the scrum. 

Sylvester is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards. They make it over the whitewash but are held up. Goal line drop Quins.

We restart with a scrum to Quins but it's a huge shove from Saints and they earn the penalty. J Matavesi puts it into the corner.

Gradwick-Light heads off for a HIA and is replaced by Bell as we restart.

Overthrow at the lineout and Quins play on from the back of it. They make it almost up to halfway but there's a huge hit on Gradwick-Light and we pause the game while he's seen to.

Saints maul forwards but it comes down and the referee awards Saints the penalty. J Matavesi puts it into the corner. 

Stafford clears from the back of the lineout and Saints have a lineout of their own just outside Quins' 22. 

Patten replaces Heffernan as we set the lineout.

Saints push back into Quins' 22 and James drops the ball onto his boot for Ramm to chase. The winger almost makes it but the ball just beats him into touch. Lineout Quins on their own five metre line.

Aerial tennis ensues on the restart and eventually Saints decide to end it. Painter runs into contact and the home side earn the penalty there too as Quins fail to roll away. J Matavesi puts it into touch for a lineout on Quins' 22.

Saints creep forwards into Quins' 22 again quickly and keep pushing.

Overthrow at the lineout from Saints though and Quins dive on it. Stafford boxes clear and Saints will have the lineout now.

Tackle off the ball from Quins and J Matavesi puts the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Scott-Young breaks through with James on his shoulder, the scrum-half finds Garside and he makes it into Quins' 22 but there the ball is ripped in a tackle and Quins clear. Matavesi is back for it and Saints play on again.

Stafford chips over the top from the lineout and James is under it. He boxes over the top. Quins return it and Saints play on.

Advantage coming for Quins at the lineout and Kolade sends it to touch for another lineout. 

Painter replaces Prowse as we set the lineout.

Penalty Quins at the scrum as it comes down and Edwards puts it into touch for a lineout.

Saints creep forwards again but the ball comes forwards in contact and Quins will have the scrum on their own five metre line.

Saints come forwards and earn a penalty too as Quins are found offside. J Matavesi puts it into the corner. 

Saints come forwards but lose the ball forwards in contact and Stafford sends the ball into touch for a Saints lineout just outside the Quins 22.

Saints turn the ball over off the lineout and push into Quins' 22 now. There's an advantage coming as there's a tackle off the ball and J Matavesi puts it into the corner.

Quins return the restart and Saints come forwards, the ball comes wide left to Garside on the wing but he's pushed into touch. Lineout Quins on their own 22. 

Garside replaces Collins as we restart.

J Matavesi gets us restart here at the Gardens!

After a few resets, eventually there's penalty at the scrum and it goes Saints' way. J Matavesi puts it into the corner.

Scrappy ball from both side and eventually the scrum goes Quins' way.

James breaks through Quins line, with the lock on his shoulder to barge past the last man and finish the job.

Saints knock the restart on and Quins play on.

J Grayson is replaced by J Matavesi as we restart.

Quin try to maul again but Saints hold firm. Stafford whips the ball out and Quins play on.

Advantage coming for Quins as they push into Saints' half from the restart and eventually we come back for it. Edwards puts it into the corner.

Saints send the restart back Quins' way and then hold their guests' attack just inside their own half. Eventually the reward comes in the form of a Quins' knock on and the away side try to pick up the ball in an off side position too to give Saints the penalty. 

Saints push forwards, working into Quins' 22 now.

Quins clear from the back of the scrum and Saints will have a lineout just outside Quins' 22. 

Saints maul forwards from the lineout but Quins defend hard and earn the scrum.

A huge hit from Scott-Young on the restart earns Saints the penalty and J Grayson puts it into the corner. 

Stafford clears to touch from the restart and Saints have the lineout on halfway. 

Quins look to maul again but Saints' defence holds. The away side push from close range now. 

Quins look to maul but Saints hold firm and push them back. But Quins keep coming and earn another advantage ads Saints are found offside. Edwards puts it back into the corner.

Free kick Quins at the scrum and they go quickly. There's an advantage coming as Saints fail to roll away, eventually we come back for it and Edwards puts it into the corner. 

Grayson hoofs the restart back Quins' way and the away side return. Saints look to come wide but the last pass goes forwards and Quins will have the first scrum.
