Northampton Saints vs DHL Stormers

Irvine strips the ball as Stormers try to come forwards off the scrum and it comes back to Savala to clear. Lineout Stormers.

Savala's conversion hands just short and Saints knock the restart on as it comes down. Scrum Stormers. 

Penalty Saints on the restart and Savala put the ball into the corner. 

E Waller and Irvine replace A Waller and Lockett as we restart. 

Penalty Saints on the restart as Stormers fail to release and James taps it quickly. Saints are up the five metre line now and pushing.

Sylvester and Baker enter play for Scott-Young and Glister as we restart. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum again and Savala puts the ball into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Moon comes through the middle of the maul and Saints earn the scrum for their defensive efforts there. 

Matthee sends the ball high off the lineout and J Garside is under it. But he's penalised at the breakdown as he's taken down and Matthee puts the ball into touch for a lineout back in Saints' 22. 

The ball heads out to Seabrook on the right wing off the lineout but the winger is just pushed into touch. Lineout Stormers.

Stormers knock the ball on at the lineout and are found offside after that. Savala puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout. 

No conversion from Savala out wide but Graham breaks through on the restart and charges into Stormers' half. Scott-Young is on his shoulder and the ball is shipped wide left again. But the ball finds touch and Stormers have the lineout. 

Litchfield is replaced by A Garside as we restart.

Big shove from Saints and the penalty goes their way. Savala puts the ball into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Knock on Stormers there though and Saints have the scrum inside their 22. 

Stormers push up to halfway and Saints are penalised for playing the nine there. Matthee puts the ball into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Knock on Stormers off the scrum and James gathers. He hacks downfield for Garside to chase but the ball beats the fullback into touch. Lineout Stormers back inside their own half. 

Scrappy ball off the lineout as it comes out to the midfield and Saints are deemed to have knocked on first. Scrum Stormers. 

Ludlam and Augustus make way for Scott-Young and Graham as we set the lineout. 

Knock on from Saints though and Stormers gather the ball and boot clear. Lineout Saints back inside their own half. 

This time it's a free kick to Saints as Stormers push early and Savala sends the ball downfield but Stormers are found offside there. Savala puts the resulting penalty into the corner. 

Free kick Stormers at the scrum as Saints push early and they opt for another scrum. 

James' clearing box kick is charged down and Augustus is penalised for taking a man in the air as the ball comes down. Stormers take the penalty quickly but there's a forward pass from the away side. Scrum Saints just outside their own 22. 

Matthee tries a crossfield kick to Markus but the ball heads into touch. Lineout Saints. 

Penalty Stormers at the breakdown off the lineout as Saints go off their feet and Matthee puts the ball into the corner for a lineout.

Savala clears long from the back of the scrum and finds touch in Stormers' half. Lineout Stormers there. 

Saints defend the maul well and Stormers are forced to get the ball out. Saints defence pushes them out of the 22 and there's a knock on from Stormers there too. Scrum Saints. 

Saints think they've held the ball up off the lineout but the penalty goes against them and Matthee puts the ball back into the corner.

Matthee chips over the top and Augustus gets there first. But there's a forward pass from Saints as the ball comes wide. Scrum Stormers. 

Stormers knock the ball on from the restart and Saints scoop it up. James boots it clear and Hartzenberg is there to gather. Stormers play on.

Changes for Saints at half-time: Smith, A Waller, Hill, Mayanavanua, Moon, James, Hutchinson and Seabrook replace Matavesi, Iyogun, Davison, Munga, Scott-Young, Braley, Sleightholme and Odendaal making way.

Lockett is up for the lineout and Saints push into Stormers' 22 off the back of it. It's the lock who's almost through but Stormers knock his offload on and Saints have the scrum. 

Straight out from Matthee as he tries to clear the restart downfield and Saints have the lineout on Stormer's 22 now.

Augustus finds Litchfield off the scrum but Stormers defence is strong and they get over the ball for the penalty there. Stormers choose the scrum option with the penalty. 

Not straight at the lineout from Stormers this time though and Saints will have the scrum.

Saints come forwards off the restart, with Scott-Young charging forwards down the left ing. But Saints go off their feet at the next breakdown and Matthee puts the ball into the corner for a Stormers lineout there. 

Glister is almost through inside the 22 but Stormers turn the ball over and boot it downfield into space. Davison works hard to get back there and Savala clears to touch well. Lineout Stormers one their own 22. 

Odendaal does well to keep the ball in as Stormers return the restart Saints' way. The ball comes wide to Augustus and he barges forwards before the penalty comes for Saints at the breakdown when Stormers fail to release. Savala puts the. ball into the corner for a lineout there. 

Penalty Stormers at the scrum as Saints are pinged for not pushing straight. Matthee puts the ball into touch for a lineout. 

Odendaal breaks through on the halfway line with Braley on his shoulder. The two exchange passes and make it up to the 22 before they're taken down. But there's a knock on on the ground there and Stormers have the scrum inside their own 22 now.

Saints come forwards on the restart and though Stormers intercept the ball on halfway, Sleightholme gets the turn over in the next breakdown. Braley sends the box kick up and Stormers gather. There's a penalty at the breakdown for Stormers there too and Matthee sends the ball into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum as Stormers go to their knee. Saints take it quickly but there's a forward pass as the ball comes wide left and Stormers will have the scrum put in again. 

No conversion from Matthew but Savala's restart is carried straight out on the wind and Stormers have the scrum on halfway. 

The ball comes wide left off the lineout and Loader tries a chip through but the ball finds touch and Saints will have a lineout inside their own 22. 

Advantage coming for Stomers from the scrum as they push up to halfway. There's another penalty for the away side there as there's a tackle off the ball from Saints. Matthee puts the ball into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Penalty advantage coming for Saints and eventually we come back for it. Savala's kick to touch is carried over the dead ball line by the wind though and Stormers choose the scrum option. 

Stormers send the ball back Saints' way on the restart but they're penalised at the breakdown and Savala puts the ball into touch for a Saint lineout in Stormers' half. 

Stormers regather the restart and push into Saints' 22 quickly. But their crossfield kick heads over the dead ball line and Saints have the 22 drop out to restart. 

Stormers try to go quickly off the lineout but a stray pass lands in Augustus' hands. Saints push up to their 22 before Braley boots the ball clear. 

Glister almost puts Sleightholme through a gap off the lineout but the ball just comes forwards off the latter and Stormers scoop it up. They push into Saints' 22 but there Saints get over the ball for the turn over. Savala clears to touch and Stormers have the lineout on Saints' 22. 

Stormers clear the kick-off downfield and find touch. Lineout Saints on halfway.
