London Irish vs Northampton Saints

Eventually we come back for the advantage and Atkins puts it into the corner.

The ball hits the deck at the maul but we play on and Irish push into Saints' 22 with an advantage coming now. 

Penalty Irish at the maul as it comes down and Atkins puts this one into the corner.

Saints play on but the ball comes loose and Irish jump on it. Saints are penalised at the breakdown as the clocks enters the red too and Jennings puts it into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Grayson's kick falls just short of the sticks and Irish play on. Hefferenan counts hard and Lockett gathers the ball, Saints play on.

Saints disrupt the maul well but Irish manage to keep the ball. Allan boxes high and Skosan is under it. Irish go off their feet at the breakdown there too and Grayson points for the posts. 

Irish charges forwards from the restart but knock on in the midfield and Hendy scoops up. He comes forwards and hack through to touch. Lineout Irish on their own 22.

McParlands clears from the back of the scrum but Irish manage to keep the ball in and play on.

McParland enters play as we set the scrum, with Braley making way. 

A solid effort at the scrum from Saints this time and they force the knock on just after. Scrum Saints this time.

Another penalty at scrum again and they choose the same option once more.

Penalty coming for Irish at the scrum and we come back for it. Scrum Irish again.

Saints disrupt Irish's maul well and defend hard in the loose but there's a penalty against them as they're found offside in the midfield. Irish choose to scrum. 

Smith returns to the field as we set the lineout, with Gradiwck-Light joining him. Sylvester makes way.

Irish earn a penalty at the breakdown and Jennings puts it back into the corner.

Penalty advantage coming for Irish as they come forwards and when we come back for it Atkins sends the bell into touch. Lineout Irish back inside Saints' half.

Saints play on from the restart before Grayson spots space in behind and sends the ball through. Lineout Irish on their own five metre line.

Irish maul forwards from the lineout before O'Sullivan boxes clear. Litchfield is under it and he charges forwards before Grayson hacks through to Skosan to chase. But the ball beats him over the try line and Irish dot down. Goal line drop to Irish.

Saints defend Irish's maul and force them to come wide. But there Saints turn the ball over and Grayson clears to touch. Lineout Irish on their own 22. 

Patten enters play to replace Painter as we set the lineout.

Jennings and the Grayson exchange high ball, with Irish forced to build the phases from deep as Saints pressure. O'Sullivan clears and though Hendy's under it, he's pushed into touch as he comes down. Lineout Irish.

Hendy replaces Ramm as we restart.

Good defence from Saints but a late hit earns Irish the penalty and Atkins puts it into the corner.

Irish charges back at Saints as they clear the restart and make their way up to the 22 quickly. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum and Grayson puts this one into the corner too. 

Irish turn the lineout over though but Lockett gets onto the ball and earns Saints the put in at the scrum. 

Crossing on the restart from Irish and Saints get the penalty. Grayson puts it into the corner.

Pollock gets over the ball again but with Saints offside the penalty goes Irish's way. They opt for the scrum. 

Heffernan replaces Mulhall as we restart.

Penalty Irish at this scrum and Jennings puts it into the corner. 

Good pressure from Saints earn the knock on from their guests though and Saints will have the scrum. 

Irish turn the ball over at the lineout though and work into Saints' half now.

Irish clear from the back of the lineout and Skosan is under it. He comes forwards before Grayson sends it high. Irish return again and Saints play on this time. They earn a penalty at the break for their efforts as Irish fail to roll away. Grayson puts it into touch for a lineout inside Irish's half.

Pollock dives on loose ball for Saints and Grayson clears long. Loader is there and charges forwards. Pollock, too, turns him over and Braley clears this time to touch. Lineout Irish on halfway. 

Saints return the restart to Irish hands and O'Sullivan clears his lines also. Irish manage to regather the high ball though and push up to Saints' 22 now.

Three changes for Saints at the break: Lockett, Pollock and Thame enter play, with Ribbans, Graham and Sleightholme making way.

Jennings gets us restarted here at the Gtech Community for the second half.

Sleightholme races down the right off the back of the scrum but he's pushed into touch by a solid Irish defensive line. Lineout Irish in their own 22. 

No conversion from Grayson on the touchline but Sylvester claims the restart and Braley clears well. Irish gather in the back field and pus back to halfway but knock the ball on there and Saints will have the scrum. 

Saints push forwards and have an advantage coming which we eventually come back for. They choose the scrum option. 

Hinkley gets over the ball to earn Saints a penalty and Grayson boots it downfield for a lineout inside Irish's 22.

Irish turn the ball over at the maul and earn a penalty at the next breakdown too. Jennings puts this one into touch too for a lineout inside Saints' 22. 

Free kick Irish at the scrum as Saints push early and Jennings clears to touch for a Saints lineout.

Saints push forwards, working into 22 but knock the ball on as it comes up to the five metre line. Scrum Irish there.

Grayson sends a grubber through as Saints push on again and the ball bobbles into touch via an Irish boot. Lineout Saints inside Irish's 22.

Irish are penalised for not rolling as we restart and Grayson sends the resulting penalty to touch for a lineout back in Irish's half.

Saint creep into the Exiles 22 now and work up to the five metre line quickly. Grayson sends the ball over to Sleightholme but he's swallowed up by Irish defenders. Saints play on.

Penalty Saints at the scrum after another big shove and the referee walks Irish back ten metres for back chat. Grayson puts his kick into touch for a lineout Irish's 22. 

Irish push forwards into Saints' 22 but with an Irish play down we pause the game while he's seen to. Scrum to Irish when we restart.

Braley clears from the restart with a box and Irish play on. They try a cross field kick but Skosan takes the Irish play out in the air as it comes down and Jennings puts it into the corner.

Irish knock the ball on in the lineout and Saints will have the scrum. 

Ramm is under the restart and he finds Graham quickly. Saints push their way back up to the 22 quickly but Irish rip the ball in a tackle and play on. But they themselves know on and then concede a penalty at the next breakdown. Grayson puts it into the corner. 

Sylvester charges down O'Sullivans clearing box kick from the back of the scrum but Irish get to it first to dot it down. Goal line drop out for Irish to restart. 

Saints think they've scored through Skosan out wide but the referee calls play back for a knock on in the build up. Scrum Irish on their own five metre line.

Irish play on from the lineout but Saints push the home side back and Graham eventually gets over the ball for a Saints penalty. Grayson puts it into touch for a lineout inside Irish's 22. 

Saints come forwards quickly off the scrum, with Grayson putting Sleightholme through Irish's line. But the Exiles get over the ball to earn a penalty at the breakdown and Jennings clears to touch for a lineout on halfway.

Ribbans works hard a the resulting maul and earns Saints the put in at the scrum.

Sylvester gets up to disrupt the lineout but knocks the ball on there. Scrum Irish to restart.
