A product of Saints Academy, Alex Moon first linked up with Northampton as he signed a Senior Academy contract at the start of the 2015/16 season.
The lock – who began his rugby career at St Joseph's College and Sedbergh School – rose through the ranks of Saints Academy to make his senior debut for the Club in 2016 as he faced Newcastle Falcons in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
Moon made his Premiership debut the following season before helping the Wanderers lift back-to-back Premiership Rugby Shield trophies in 2017 and 2018.
But it was in the 2018/19 season that Moon really broke through into the first team squad, making 18 appearances in Black, Green and Gold as Saints reached the knock-out stages of every senior competition and lifted the Premiership Rugby Cup along the way.
Moon's performances in that campaign – including his first try in Saints colours in the European Challenge Cup quarter-final against Clermont Auvergne – earned the towering lock his first senior contract at the Club and after 20 strong appearances for Northampton the following term, the lock was rewarded with a call-up to England's summer training camp in 2020.
The 6’7” second rower racked up a half-century of Saints appearances in 2021 and took to the field on a further 16 occasions during the 2021/22 season.
