Saints go from deep through Dingwall who bursts into the Bath half but his pass with a couple of options just misses a teammate. That is compounded by a penalty concession, Bath kick to the Saints ten metre line. Four minutes remain. Saints steal the lineout!!!!

A kicking exchange ends with Spencer producing a strong diagonal clearance to touch. Langdon to throw in on his own ten metre line. Scott-Young claims under pressure. 

Wow! Dingwall hammers a Bath carrier on halfway and the ball spills free, Freeman scoops up and breaks, grubbering ahead deep into the Bath 22 where he skilfully dabs forward one more time before gathering and rolling over under pressure!

Smith's conversion fades to the left. Saints trail by six with 13 minutes to go.

Saints are defending on their own ten metre line for what seems like an eternity, Spencer goes high and Ramm claims for the 22, then slams the ball down the pitch. Bath to throw in five metres outside their own 22.

Smith's conversion attempt from the left touchline hits the right post and bounces to safety. Bath lead by 11 with 23 minutes to play.

It's an end-to-end period with Ramm's kick behind being well fielded by Ted Hill. Then Pollock breaks down the left. Saints are moving it left and right and James is kicking well. But the period ends with Spencer's clearance to touch from his own goalline. Langdon to throw in a few metres into the Bath 22, on the left touchline. 

Smith, Munga, Pearson and Hutchinson are replaced by Langdon, Moon, Lockett and Thame.

Freeman does well to leap and slap back a high ball from near the left touchline, where Munga rolls and makes a few metres. But Bath swarm the breakdown to win a penalty. Bath kick down into the 22 but a chip ahead in the 22 is well read by Fin Smith, who clears down into the Bath half.

Saints are off to a flying start as Furbank feeds Ramm down the right wing and steps infield when inside the 22. Smith smashes a hole and Bath hold firm to defend their line well. The attack breaks down and the visitors are awarded a penalty at the breakdown.

Smith peels off the maul but is stopped by his opposite number. Saints go wide but there's a Bath hand knocking on. There's a penalty advantage and as Cokanasiga intercepts, referee Woodthorpe comes back to award the penalty. Smith kicks to five metres out, another golden chance for Saints...

Pearson pounces on a breakdown on halfway to win a penalty! Brilliant work from the flanker on debut. Smith kicks down to the 22 and have penalty advantage.

Davison powers into the Bath scrum and wins Saints a penalty. this time Smith goes to the corner. Saints have a throw 10 metres from the Bath goalline. 

Saints show some adventure as James quickly taps a penalty around the Bath 22, but there's a knock on a few phases later and Bath will have a scrum and the opportunity to clear their lines. 

Saints are penalised for collapsing the maul near their own 22. Gallagher kicks to 10 metres out, where Bath will throw into the lineout 

Bath apply pressure at the scrum and win a penalty. Gallagher kicks the visitors down to ten metres from the Saints goalline. 

Spencer pumps a ball high into the sky and Ramm times his leap perfectly to claim. Saints have forced Bath back to near their own 22, where Spencer clears to halfway, and Ramm leaps again, but this time knocks on. Scrum Bath, 15m in from touch.

Bath look good for another score but step forward Pollock. The teenager was a late call up to the side and showed he is up for the challenge by brilliantly getting over the breakdown to win a penalty for his side!

Bath gain another great field position from a Bailey 50:22, but Dunn's throw just inside the Saints 22 is not straight. So Saints have a scrum 15 metres in from touch. Furbank clears but it's out on the full. We're back for a Bath lineout, 30 metres out.

Iyogen has limped off after just four minutes and is replaced by Ethan Waller.

Saints are penalised for not rolling away in the 22, Spencer kicks to the corner and Bath have an early opportunity from five metres out.
